Hey everyone, I had my first gyno appt where I explained my 10 years of hell with pelvic pain.. guess what I’m not crazy! She agreed with the diagnoses of endometriosis, she gave me a tablet to help the pain called Amitriptyline.. has anyone else been prescribed this for endo pain?

Could it be that I've changed my antidepressent to morning?
I've just realised that I still feel a bit out of it this morning and it couldn't possibly be from taking that one dose of Amitriptyline 36 hours ago. Then I remembered I've also changed taking my Citalopram 10mg from nighttime to morning, as my nurse said the Citalopram can cause insomnia. But it can

New results help please
Hi there, I posted my results before Christmas when I was on 150mcg Levothyroxine and got some excellent advice here. I subsequently went gluten free and have been taking vitamins and supplements (D3, K2, B12, magnesium sulphate, Betaine HCl and digestive enzymes). I then persuaded my GP to increase

ECT didn’t work for me!
So I thought this was going to be the ticket to getting my depression under control. Well unfortunately it wasn’t the answer for me. I like and trust the doctors who told me to try it and I was very ambivalent about it as I’m sure everyone undergoing it would be. I was even inspired by the 60 minutes

Any experience of Amitriptyline?
As I’ve only been taking it a few days it’s too early to tell if it will help with the back and joint pain, early indications are quite good, but then it does have antidepressant qualities.

Cutaneous Vasculitis
Hi all Back in early 2015 I had the most awful rash and raised itchy lumps over the lower part of my legs. I went to my GP who suggested treating the whole family for Scabies. After many tests and appointments later and biopsies they confirmed Cutaneous Vasculitis. Back in 2018 from July to December

I have been taking Pramipexole for a few months now with little or no relief. Previous to this I was taking Pergolide which worked perfectly for many years however now it is unavailable so I'm having to try alternatives. On top of this I've had a knee replacement and when the restless legs start

Which drugs make RLS worse?
I am seeing a consultant at a sleep clinic on Wednesday 30th January. Last time she wanted to prescribe me Amitriptyline. I knew that I had seen that this drug made RLS worse and told her so.
