Due to start IVF
Hi We were recently told by our fertility doctor that she will refer us on for IVF. We have been trying for 2 1/2 years. I have polycystic ovaries, I had the scan and actually they weren't that bad and my fertility doctor said that shouldn't affect my fertility so I haven't had clomid. My husbands

Hi all. Anyone else have very faint line on OPK test during predicted ovulation but no positive and still ovulate? I had this a few months ago, thought i hadn`t ovulated but a blood test confirmed i had, my CB ovulation never had a solid smiley face. Is this common? I have had positives in previous months

Baseline scan update...
So I have just got back from having my baseline scan ahead of our first round, my lining is not as thin as they would like so they are delaying my stimms until Saturday... I told them I don't normally bleed for longer than 4 days after my endo surgery, I was advised if it stops before Saturday I will

Constant Battle
my journey started in 2013 when me and my husband had been trying for a baby for over a year. Hi everyone! My name is Monica, I am from South Carolina. I’m here for advice. Just a couple of years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS. I had clomide with metformin. I went through 3 unsuccessful iui cycles and 4 of ivf. I was praying to eventually get pregnant on my last cycle but that didn’t happen,

Has anyone been prescribed clomid for endometriosis
Please can anyone help me. I came off the depo injection in December and have been actively trying to conceive. My endometriosis was well controlled for 8 years whilst on the injection. Since coming off my periods are severe, each cycle gets worse and worse with the pain. I've been off the depo 6 months

Time off work for IVF
Hi all. I was wondering what experiences people have had of getting time off work for IVF treatment? I've just found out that I will need IVF. It was a bit of a shock, as I had expected to just be given clomid (I have PCOS). I feel very grateful that I'll be getting the treatment very soon, but my work

I felt that i did not wanted to go through this ivf roller coaster anymore however after 6 months of trying clomid, with no hope i am at a crossroad

Progressing onto IUI at CRGW
Hello.... Our 3rd Clomid cycle has just failed.... We have 1 prescription left to try again but after that we are now thinking of progressing onto IUI at CRGW. Is there anyone who has been through IUI in general or specifically in CRGW in South Wales? Would love to hear your experiences. Thanks xx

Cancelled IUI due to too many follicles!
Hi Ladies. We decided to try IUI before taking the plunge with IVF. They put me on 50mg clomid for 5 days, and this morning I went it for the first scan which revealed at least 6 large follicles when they are only after max 2! The nurse said reduction would be a possibility which I was gearing myself

Our first IVF cycle has been postponed until the end of June as the consultant is having an op. So it will be on my second period depending on if it's on time. I was next due on 22nd may but the nurse said if I came on early to ring them and let them know as it means my June period will be too eairly

OPK - PEAK OR NOT ??
Perhaps i could have peoples opinion on my OPK`s for this month. Looks like i had a peak on CD14 but i also test with Clearblue advanced Dual hormone and have just had blank circles to date. I took Clomid days 5-9 and it seems to have made no difference to the lines even though they say Clomid can give

Has anyone had any success with IUI?
Hello ladies. We are about to start our first IUI with clomid, and I was just wondering if anyone had a positive result with IUI? It seems that the success rate is really low, but I felt more comfortable trying this 'milder' approach first before going on to IVF...
