Perhaps i could have peoples opinion on my OPK`s for this month. Looks like i had a peak on CD14 but i also test with Clearblue advanced Dual hormone and have just had blank circles to date. I took Clomid days 5-9 and it seems to have made no difference to the lines even though they say Clomid can give you false positives.
Thanks

Hello I would also say the same day 14 was your darkest. Also i used the Clearblue dual hormone monitor and we never got a solid smile I got flasheys or negs and we are 8 weeks pregnant now 😍 Once because I was a serial poas I used 2 sticks in different monitors and got a solid smiley in one and empty circle on the other. Same urine!! Very frustrating when your forking out Twenty odd pounds a pack!! I listened to my body more than anything. If I got ov pains I did the deed lol! Lol good luck xxxx
It certainly looks as though day 14 was your peak... I've also found that I don't get positive results with Clearblue tests but my serum progesterone levels for the last 3 months on Clomid have all indicated that it's doing its job and I ovulated. Was this your first month on Clomid? Did you get any other symptoms like ovulation pain to confirm it? Are you having a blood test on day 21 to confirm ovulation happened?
We've decided that after 3 months of majorly stressing which has resulted in a negative effect on my mental health we're just going to trust the drug to do its job again this month. I have got rid of all apps on my phone, thrown away the pee sticks and the thermometer and we're simply going to enjoy having sex every other day or so from day 9 to day 16 (I've ovulated on day 14/15 of every Clomid cycle so far). We've got 3 cycles of Clomid left including this one and we're thinking positive... Clomid CAN make us conceive, Clomid WILL make us conceive
Thanks for your reply. I had a very strong positive last night on my OPK and again this morning with a solid smiley on the Clearblue so looks like CD14 my body was gearing up. This is my 9th , yes 9th! Clomid cycle, 3 at 50 , 3 at 100 and 3 at 150. I`ve ovulated but im pretty sure not every month, i`ve not had cd21 blood tests after every cycle. I`ve had no real success on Clomid, i think i may have had a chemical a couple of cycles ago but then it could have been an evap line. I`m due to have a blood test this coming Sunday and a follow up appointment with my consultant the following Thursday.I`m pretty sure he`ll say an egg donor and IVF are my next options but my other half is against the idea and we really couldn`t afford it anyway. I always knew my chances were extremely slim at my age 45 but i knew i still had to try .I totally understand the mental health issue, it takes over your life and i must admit i`ve become a poas adict. I wish you well and you get you BFP soon . Keep in touch as i`d like to know how your getting on
