Healthy Eating With Severe Food Allergies
Hello everyone, I am new to all of this. I have been searching everywhere online for different websites, articles, forums, etc. that would help with my problem. I am interesting in eating healthier, but i have a major dilema. I have food allergies. Not just any, but specifically allrgies to raw fruits

IgE mediated allergies now non-IgE mediated.
Having been considered a severe and difficult asthmatic (previously brittle) for over 20 years, I have struggled to get anywhere really. This year they decided to retry Xolair which had previously given me suicidal ideation but now my IgE is only 33, which is ok but my RAST tests have come back practically

Post nasal drip and allergic rhinitis
Since November 17 I have had post nasal drip except for a couple of months last summer. I been successfully treated twice for nasal polyps tried all sorts of nasal sprays. I douch every day and now using dymista. I am allergic to house dust mite so have really tired to limit my exposure in my bedroom

To wait until review or see someone sooner?
Hi, My next review is due in June. My asthma is always worse from March-August due to hayfever. Usually only June-July is a real problem. In March I may wake up with a tight chest occasionally but it goes after 2 puffs of salbutamol. Otherwise I'll only notice a problem with real exertion e.g. I can

Excessive Nasal Congrstion
It’s a constant with me as well. I have found that a steroid nasal spray Fluticasone helps open me up and another drying spray has helped tremendously. I too suffer from airborne and food allergies but have found some positive relief from these additions.

Goodbye to my consultant today
Today was my final appointment with my respiratory consultant after a tough time last year. Now I have been signed off back to my doctors and asthma nurse. My asthma is really good at the moment apart from other associated conditions. Acid reflux hasn't resolved but seeing an gastroenterologist who

Hay fever
I’m going out of my mind with my hay fever symptoms. I wake up with a blocked nose and it never clears properly then the next morning it’s all blocked again. My blocked nose makes it hard to breathe. I have itchy, dry, scratchy, watery eyes. I sneeze. My nose runs and itches like mad. I have rashes on

Treatment options for non-eosinophilic / non allergic asthma
Does anyone know what the treatment options would be for non-eosinophilic / non allergic asthma with no inflammation. I’m at a loss with it!

Feeling frustrated
I just received a condescending letter from my consultant. I had a blood allergy test come back as normal. Already had one so was expecting this. But i know i have allergies, the sneezing, coughing and watery eyes tells me so! I also had lung function tests. Which came back as normal. This confuses me

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”
Hi folks, That quote is not referring to any old food like the man-made food you can buy in the shops. ‘fake food’ as I call it. It is talking about REAL food. The food that comes from the earth. Food is grown from seed, no chemicals should be involved. When I was little, I had a terrible junk food diet

Intolerance test
Hi, i have sent off hair samples for a complete intolerance test as doctors will not test me for allergies as like looking for needle in haystack. Has anyone had this test and if so do you think it is accurate.

Possible help for allergy to medications
You can possibly desensitize yourself to the medication you are having an allergic reaction to. You take a tiny amount of the drug you are allergic to and increase it over a month or two. You can read about drug desensitization and possibly get an allergist to help you do it so you can take the medication
