Possible help for allergy to medications

You can possibly desensitize yourself to the medication you are having an allergic reaction to. You take a tiny amount of the drug you are allergic to and increase it over a month or two. You can read about drug desensitization and possibly get an allergist to help you do it so you can take the medication you are actually allergic to. Has anyone done this? I developed a horrible rash from all the natural thyroid I took with no problem for like 30 years then I was unable to take anything for 6 weeks. I mean in that 6 weeks I tried to take Armour, Thyroid NP and various doses of Naturethroid and I am trying tirosit now. If it doesn’t work I will try the desensitization maybe with nature thyroid sonce I was on it the longest. I became totally hypothyroid over 6 weeks. Every symptom. So I have been researching like mad. I am an RN. Thanks, Carol from AZ

You may not realise that you can edit any posts or responses you have made here.

HealthUnlocked have produced a simple demonstration of how to do this. You can find this here:

I am pointing this out purely to ensure that you know your options.

(If you make extensive changes, it is sometimes helpful to add a comment so that people can see that you have made changes.)
