Lupus or anxiety?
Hello, My gp is currently testing me for lupus, I'm worried he is wasting his time, I had a negative ana test 2 years ago and every doctor I have seen before him has told me it's anxiety and sent me away. I was diagnosed with social anxiety and general anxiety disorder 9 years ago and about 6-7 years

High MCV but acceptable B12 serum levels
Hi Everyone I haven't posted here before and only on the Thyroid forum. I have posted my recent results for blood count and for B12. I am not sure why my MCV and MCH are always high or over range? I had severe megoblastic anaemia in my 20's (now late 40's). I only drink socially and very lightly. I don't

Constant worries
Hi all, I've just joined here to see can I find people with similar experiences as mine and maybe help others too. I'm 42 and a single mum of 4 kids 3 of which are still young. I've suffered anxiety and panic attacks from as young as 6 and was sexually abused as a child when my parents used to leave

Managing anxiety without meds
Hi I'm new to the forum here. Have been on various antidepressants for the past 9 years but have stopped altogether due to side effects and am now left to deal with my anxiety and mild depression without them. I'm going to counseling, reading CBT books, and also taking St. John's Wort. All seem to

Summoned due to test results
I've had a phone call to go to the Doc to discuss my blood results. Apart from the high B12 (jab 2 weeks before) and the high Folate (was high on previous test too), I can't see anything out of range, unless I'm missing something obvious, unless they are worried about the Folate. Normal Doc is off sick

As for me....
I have been given an official title of POTS. My specialist still thinks my low positive ANA is "incidental"😕. He's referred me on to a POTS clinic at a major teaching hospital locally. So it will be nice to be able to go by car to my appointments instead of plane!! At this stage I'm inclined to accept

Bad reactions to antidepressants?
Does anyone else here have bad side affects and reactions to antidepressants or mood stabilizers? I really wish I could take something to help with my depression and anxiety, but unfortunately... I can't. I have horrible reactions to medications. It leaves me feeling a bit helpless sometimes. I can't

Barely Lupus
Hi, I recently tested positive for antinuclear antibodies, and my GP, or regular doctor, has said that it's highly probable that I have Lupus. Meanwhile, I'm just waiting to see the Rheumatologist on June 22, to under go more testing and get a definite diagnosis. My GP is a DO or Doctor of Osteopathy
