Day 9 IVF follicle scan
I had my day 9 follicule scan yesterday which im disappointed with. I'm 29 and have low AMH so I was warned to expect low numbers but can't help feel disappointed. I'm on long protocol (synaral nasal spray for down reg for almost 3 weeks then gonal F 375 and keep going with the synarel on half dose)

AIH & High Cholesterol?
Please does anyone know if I am worrying unnecessarily, or is this an indication that the
AIH
might be becoming active again? Any advice would be really welcome, thank you!

Another negative result š¢ next steps?
Over three stimulated cycles we have just experienced our fourth negative result after embryo transfer. Totally gutted and looking for advice on what to do next. Our first cycle produced decent numbers of eggs, but most were immature and the ones that did fertilise didnāt develop well. We later learned

Falling AMH level
Hi everyone, Just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience to me. My AMH level was tested twice in the past couple of years and came back at 11.8 and 13.8. We had a failed round of IVF in March and then an abandoned second round in August due to poor response. Because of my unexpected poor response

Hi Friends, I am still hoping to find successful treatment for my wife's horrendous pmr pred side effects and skin fragility.
Last week a stumble against the bedroom wall whilest undressing caused her to raise her arm to prevent a fall but the friction against the wall was sufficient to tear a flap of approx. 30 sq.cm. plus an injury to her leg. Fortunately our local medical centre provided excellent first aid care and healing

new clinic, different protocols and treatment
so as our clinic got bought over we went to meet a different consultant at the clinic that bought ours over last night. we decided given there was nothing we could do about this just to go with it and for our last frostie maybe this could be a positive change. straight away we felt welcome and the consultant

Egg head and concussion!
Here we are then! As the title says thatās exactly what happened. So no running for me this weekend. While at work on Friday after returning from my lunch break I accidentally whacked my forehead on the metal door of one of the anaesthetic drug cupboards in the anaesthetic room. This had been left opened

The rollercoaster begins...
We are starting our 5th IVF ICSI cycle now AF has finally decided to show up 4 days late. This will be our 3rd cycle with current clinic. As we have had a few months off since the last treatment they wanted to do a day 2 scan to make sure all is good for starting stims on day 5. Had my day 2 scan with

Can you help me join the dots?
Our first IVF cycle ended abruptly the day after egg collection with a phone call to say none of the 11 eggs fertilised. We had our follow up appointment on Thursday with our consultant which didnāt really answer any of our questions. He said ICSI was our only option and was fairly pushy about doing

Confused about Ubiquinol/CoQ10. What your consultants say?
Hello, my first IVF consultation is months away, however, it seems that the sooner you start with supplements, the better. I am already on a pre-conception multi-vitaminic, extra Vitamin D (I am deficient), and I am now wondering whether Ubiquinol/CoQ10 can make a difference. My AMH was 2.2 ng/ml in

To start IVF during high stress or wait 3 months?
Hi all! I was just hoping for some advice. My dh and I are renovating a house, he's working 12 hour shifts and we're working up the house for full days on weekends. This project has taken far longer than expected (2 years) but we should finally be in the house by the end of October. The reno has brought

AMH level??
I have done new blood tests and my AMH is higher than what it was 2 years ago. Has anyone had this happen? I thought it was meant to go down as you get older? X

The Spoon Theory
I found this a while after I was diagnosed with
AIH
and it helped so much when trying to convey the difficulties on a day to day basis when you're living with fatigue.

Does cycle day dictate follicle count?
Had ivf consultation today. Re testing my AMH with bloods but they also did an ultrasound to look for follicle count. The girl doing the scan said she couldnāt find my right ovary as I had a lot of ābowel gasā. Iāve had so many of these internal scans and always found both ovaries but I appreciate they
