Short Flare protocol- just one scan scheduled for 6/7 days after taking gonal f injections-enough???
Hi all :) As above just one scan with view to collection 4/5 days later. Shouldn't there be more scans? Perhaps sooner to guage my bodys reaction? I have very low amh and on gonal f 350 mg injections. What if i'm over/under reacting and they miss it causing cycle to be a disaster? We paid a lot for this

Just had a MRE
Just an update....I had a fibroscan several months ago, just after I was diagnosed with PBC, that showed stage 2-3 fibrosis. It was a real shocker considering I feel good, my labs were not terrible, and I appeared to be in good health. My hepatologist was also a bit surprised at the results so I was

Early menopause or thyroid?
I really need some advice because I don’t know what’s going on since I have had blood tests done privately and with GP and I have been told there is no issue. I am 36 For the last 18 months I have had my usual 3-5 day medium/light periods drop to just 1-3 days super super light. My periods have been

Melatonin helps sleep
Any words of wisdom regarding Melatonin as sleep aid? I've always been a light sleeper, sensitive to sounds, light, etc. in the past (50 years now), I blamed this problem on having raised children, always aware of unusual sounds, etc., in the night, which translates to interrupted sleep.. With PMR

Change of clinic, change of attitude
I’ve had a productive couple of weeks recently that I wanted to share here as this forum helped me get out of my despair. I received NHS funding for 2 cycles at an excellent clinic in London, and have had my first consultation there - love the doctor. She said one failed IVF cycle doesn’t indicate needing

IVF started today!
Our story so far... I am 35 and my husband is 34. We've been trying to conceive for just over 2 years. All test results on his side are fine, most tests on my side are fine apart from me having a low AMH of 3.4. they say this shouldn't affect natural fertility, but here we are now, starting IVF. My follicle

Newly diagnosed... Here are some obstacles and pitfalls to avoid before you fall into them!
Hello chat room friends and family. I created post a couple years back with help from the wonderful members of this chat room. They helped fill in the gaps that I missed in what turned into a fantastic post that has a timely effect for all the newly diagnosed that deal with this monster we call MS. It

Recommendations for Non Alcoholic and Artificial sweeteners free drinks
Dont know if it's just me or part of these diseases (
AIH
& PBC) but I can't seem to tolerate artificial sweeteners. And with Christmas fast approaching I was wondering if anyone could recommend some nice non alcoholic drinks without artificial sweeteners in them. Thanks

Due to start 1st IVF cycle in a few weeks
I'm due to start our first IVF cycle in a couple of weeks, found out yesterday that my AMH level has dropped from 22 to 8 in just over a year so Dr is concerned about that, also it appeared that I had quite a thin lining on my scan. I've been taking pregacare vitamin for some time, I know I'm starting

Low AMH and ovary reserve :(
I have just been told (last week) that my AMH is 0.6 and I have 4 follicles (2 on each ovary) but that my left ovary was quite low. Basically early menopause. My FSH was 22. Due to be re-done again this month. I am truly devastated. I want children so badly and this has broken my heart. I need some

Liver biopsy
I asked him which way he was veering between nash and

and he said
aih
. I then went for my gastroscopy ( a different consultant, more interested in my bleeding ulcer) I was given a letter for my gp to start me on beta blockers and a report on the findings.

What to do next round - lining issues
Hi I wondered if anyone here has done a fresh cycle but their lining wasn’t thick enough for a transfer ? Did you freeze any embryos and then continue any hormonal treatment to thicken the lining? Or did you then have to end that cycle and then start a new FET cycle? I’m asking as thinking of doing

My liver doc has never said much about diet. I think I eat a healthy diet- included daily is kefir- any other suggestions? I believe it’s very important.
