CBT has been a godsend.
I have been going to therapy now for a few months and because of that I have not been on here much. I feel different. The world looks brighter (and it’s not because of the random cataract surgery I had in June 😅). CBT has literally changed how I view the world. I still have my struggles but I am

Hi I was diagnosed with a fatty liver (284,5.8). I decided to change my lifestyle completely. Did another test 10-15 days later(291,5.7),basically no change. Did another test yesterday(almost 2 months since my initial test. I got rid of the fatty liver(230) but my stiffness level was at 7.8. The doctor

Trying to understand the factors behind recurrence of Diabetic Macular Oedema
Have been having Lucentis injections for 3 to 4 years. Reached a point a couple of years ago where where it seemed to have cleared up in both eyes so I went to 6 months between visits. In the meantime at my annual diabetes review at GP Surgery the Nurse stated that my diabetes control had improved

Eyes post cataract surgery.
I visited the hospital yesterday and was surprised at the interest in my steroids that the opthamologist displayed. Can anyone enlighten me on how much steroids are still affecting the eyes after cataract surgery?

Kidneys feel a little sore, or is it lower back?
Hello I'm 2 years post transplant and over the last 5 or 6 days, when I wake up I've had a dull ache towards the right hand side of my lower back. I went to see my GP yesterday and she had a little feel around and she seems to think it's muscle related but I asked for a blood test form and got that

Is This a Spider Nevi?
Is this a spider nevi near my collarbone? I’ve had one removed from near my eye and another on my ear 5 months ago and the dermatologist didn’t seem concerned and said my other Telangiectasias on my face are probably due to genetics and sun. I’m worried I might have an underlying liver disease that is

A possibly interesting publication revealing 10-fold increase in inflammatory molecule in microvascular angina patients.

Scan & blood results
Hi all. Hope you’re all keeping well. So had my results yesterday finally. Alcohol related fatty liver. Blood results for liver stiffness have come back ‘slightly elevated’. Consultants said I’ve got to have a ‘special’ ( his words) scan next month to see how stiff it is! Can anyone shed any light on

Selegiline and the CHEESE REACTION
I've been taking Selegiline for the past two months and have had halfway decent results with it. Not great but slight improvement all around. I am taking 5mg two times per day. In recent weeks Ive been getting bad headaches, whereas I never got them in the past. After some careful figuring, I figured
