Asthma / A Fib
Is there anyone that has asthma and a fib on an combined inhaler like Breo Ellipta or
Advair
? Do you find that you have more episodes of A fib ? I am a little hesitant to try one of theses because of the long acting b2 agonist .

New and Saying Hello after COVID
Inhaled steroids help some - I started on
Advair
but have since switched to try Alvesco+Incruse (LAMA) since I'm a little concerned about the possibility of bronchiolitis.

Symbicort wasn't working...my lungs still feel tightness. Dr. Prescribes Advair 250 discus.
As my post title says, the doctor prescribed
Advair
, but the pharmacy gave me Wixela Inhub, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 250 mcg/ 50 mcg. First of all, is this the same? Anyone here know if these 2 medications are equivalent to each other?

So now she changed it to
advair
discus 500 . She said that this was comparable to Breo. I am really scared to try
advair
because of it being 500 that maybe it will be strong also. I also have paroxysmal A Fib and I don’t want to get an episode of A Fib.

taking seretide (advair) and Qvar together
Hi all -- Has anyone's GP or specialist ever OKed the use of Qvar and Seretide together? I've been taking Seretide 500/50 during the current exacerbation and for the last year. It kept me alive, but not enough to work and live a normal life. 3 days ago, out of desperation, I started using Qvar100 as

Reaction to inhalers
Seems like I have had a reaction to
Advair
and now Spiriva. He told me to use the drops for 1 week and see if I feel better. I am so scared that this is from the Spiriva. What next?? Will Ifind an inhaler that I will not have a reaction to?

4th Vaccine Shot
We've all seen a lot written on our site about Covid Vaccines, so some might feel it is not important for me to make this post; however, I feel that all input is useful for those who want to continue with vaccines. After my first two shots with Moderna I had not experienced more than a little soreness

Combination inhalers and A fib
So the Dr. recommended
advair
discus 500 which she said it was compatible to Breo . I haven’t started it because I am scared that being it 500 that it might cause me an episode of A Fib. Is there anybody that has A Fib and asthma been successful with a combination inhaler ?

Sinus infection
Hello, I am pretty sure I have sinusitis. Before my CKD diagnosis I used to take Advil Cold and Sinus. However, I cannot take that now. Does anyone know of a medication that is safe for CKD patients to help with coughing, sneezing, and pain. Thank you.

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote this post about a high creatinine result; https://healthunlocked.com/nkf-ckd/posts/147716770/1.37-creatinine-in-japan This morning, I got the results back from the tests my doctor ordered. This time my creatinine level was 1.09 and though high my doctor said I am not in

Coming off Pred
Hi everyone. First post here but I’ve been following for some time. I was diagnosed with PMR in 2018 and started on 20mg of Pred. I’ve been reducing gradually like many over last three years. I was hoping to get off completely before now but several times when moving from 5 to 4 Found my hands stiffened

How I went from 13 to 4 a day (Carbidopa 25/Levodopa 100)?
How I went from 13 to 4 a day (Carbidopa 25/Levodopa 100)? I started taking my L-dopa on an empty stomach (no eating 30 minutes before or 1 hour after). My prescription was written for 1-1/2 tablets 6 times a day (9 a day). With my Movement Disorder Specialist’s knowledge, I was taking 1 tablet every

Questions and update
Hi all, I just have a couple questions: 1.When you get a steroid shot in a joint, is it normal to experience the joint being swollen a little while later and then the next day? Like almost solid swollen? And maybe something like feeling warm in the eyes? 2. Do you ever forget to write symptoms down

Confused flare or not
I posted a few days ago about left shoulder pain and tight area around left neck and scapula. Increased Pred does from 5mg to 10mg and taking 800mg of Advil. Stated to feel easing off the pain so dropped the Advil and now the pain has returned. Totally confused whether to drop back to my normal dose

Questioning modern cancer treatment.
Hello, I have kept my cancer treatment to a personal basis sharing it only with some family and friends. Almost 7 years ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 4, Prostate Cancer and a Gleason Score 9, positive margin. As most, I went through prostate biopsies, the radical robotic proctectomy, radiation treatment
