I have four different vaccines about two weeks ago, FLU (the stronger one as I am over 65), RSV, Covid Booster and Meningococcal ACWY 2nd shot. I took two on each of my arms. I don't remember exactly which went to which arms but I think the Covid Booster and Meningococcal ACWY 2nd shot were on my right arm. Both of my arms were sore the night of the vaccines, then the sore on my left arm went away the next day, however the sore on my right arm remained and seemed like getting worse lately. I could hardly sleep at night. When I laid down, the pain was pretty bad, but if I sat up, the pain was less but still there. During the day, the sore didn't even both me much at all. I did arm exercises but didn't help much. I took Tylenol for a few nights, it helped, then I changed to Advil, and helped even more. But I don't want to get hooked on these pain pills.
I understand soreness is part of the side effects of vaccines, but it should have gone within a few days. I just wonder why my right arm still feel so sore after almost two weeks. I don't know if I should go to see a doctor or not at this point.
Does anyone has any suggestions/comments?
Thank you.

Sorry to hear you are still experiencing soreness. For concerns relating to a vaccine, it's best to ask a healthcare professional such as a GP or pharmacist for advice.
not sure its the same thing but one time I had a jab it was done too high up in the arm almost at the top , which caused quite severe pain for almost 3 weeks. I queried it and was told that was due to being to close to the joint and should have gone in a bit lower into the muscle. it caused pain and loss of ability to lift arm sideways and up. it did go eventually That was nothing do do with what was in the vaccine, just placed too high .
That's what I suspected too. I have taken many vaccines before and this time the nurse vaccinated on my arms higher than usual. But I wonder why my left arm was alright and not the right since they were both high. I have difficulty lifting my arm at any direction as well.
The strange thing is that during the day time when I am up and running around, my pain is not severe at all and I was able to lift my arm most of the times without much pain. But when I laid down at night to sleep, the pain increased and got much worse. Some nights I have to sit up to sleep so the pain was not as severe.
