adding Alendronic acid side effects ?

I am wondering what others have experience when on Zoladex ADT (4.5 months of 24 + RT) of adding Alendronic acid (for osteoporosis) Had first one 5 days ago and am having muscle pain - seems rather quick and wondering if it’s the Zoladex accumulation and is the muscle and fatigue just getting worse or variable? The problem with this treatment is to know what is due to what ! As I have post polio I also have had fatigue and muscle aches (mild) for some years.

I take 70 mg of Alendronate every other week for bone health and have noticed no side effects. I’ve been on Eligard since last May and added the alendronate around June.

thanks - I don’t think it could be the Alendronate but working out what is what is what is not obvious

My first infusion put me in bed for two days! After that, no side effects however. Been on it for about 4 years now.

I’m starting on the tablets weekly but may go to the infusion if I don’t get in with hassle or have gastric issues. but good to hear after the initial reaction you’ve had no issues. It’s me who made then give me a DEXA and found to be just over osteoporosis threshold so kind of self instigated as I thought the PCa treatment would be risky for my bone health
