Hi Everyone, I am feeling really bummed tonight…over the past 5 months I was on Enhertu, I qualified because of the destiny trials. Tomotherapy side effects?
Our understanding is that he would have better outcome and could possibly end all
ADT
, which would be contrary to MO SOC, any thoughts would be welcomed

Zytiga failed, Xtandi next
MO says the active hip lesion means the Zytiga is failing, at least at that one area only but recommends Xtandi and I am now hormone resistant after 19 months on
ADT
plus Zytiga/prednisone.

Orgovyx vs. Lupron, (with Enzalutimide or Abiraterone).
I just started
ADT
which consisted of a loading dose made up of 2 shots of Firmagon in the stomach. While the shots did not hurt much, it was about 8 hours later that experienced a lot of pain at the injection sites.

My Oligometastatic PCa Journey Continues...coming up on year 9!
It's been a while since I've posted. But wanted to offer a note of
encouragement
for those here that have
oligometastatic prostate cancer
. I was diagnosed in 2015 (227 PSA, Gleason 8, 1 MET in the spine) and still going strong. After years of
hormone therapy
, 6 rounds of
chemo

Goat whey, casein, IGF-1 etc. - Do they promote or slow cancer growth?
Since I started on
ADT
in 2016, I've lost 30 pounds. I don't know how much is due to the
ADT
, and how much is due to my diet. I'm 172 pounds now. I was muscular and athletic at 202, and I'm still that way, but with about 20 pounds less muscle.

Low Testosterone and value of continuing Hormone Therapy
83 year old male with a question: My understanding is that the role of hormone therapy is to lower one’s testosterone level. Does hormone therapy provide additional benefits in fighting prostate cancer beyond lowering testosterone levels? I was diagnosed with high grade prostate cancer (Gleason 10

Rising PSA after radiation and ADT
Hi All, I was diagnosed with PCa in April 2022 (Gleason 3+4). My PSA was 28. I was given a 3 month shot of lupron in June 2022. In August I had 20 sessions of IGRT - Image guided radiation therapy. These are PSA levels: 0.56 (Sept 2, 2022) 1.6 (Dec 27, 2022) 5.3 (Feb 14, 2023) Should I be concerned

Prostate cancer treatment and sexual mutilation
Well well. In the midst of the club no one wants to be a part of and just wanted to add my input. It seems that the treatment of prostate cancer often glazes over the fact that you will be sexually impacted severely. Depending on treatment outcome that could be a 0 to 7. Seems like the topic isn’t really

Back in permanent AF and warfarin dose decrease
Hi All, I used to have paroxysmal AF which was ablated by Prof Schilling back in 2010. I had been in NSR. However I was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in the summer. I had huge delays and postponements before I had a biopsy. I eventually got the results 5 weeks later (rather than the two weeks promised

I am now starting to have major fatigue from the
ADT
and Low BP 96/49 , and low pulse 48. (having headaches, and dizziness (hypotension symtoms). I was supposed to star with the cialis but afraid it will cause worse hypotension and symptoms?

Side effects of Relvar Ellipta?
Hi, I have been on Relvar Ellipta for, I think, four years now. It works well to control my asthma, but I wonder if anybody has got any side effects from this medicine? Apart from asthma, I have problems with a heart valve (Mitral), and I am hormone treatment for prostate cancer, and also I take Budesonide

How soon after taking 4 month eligard shot can you switch to firmagon?
I started my hormone treatment with firmagon + apalutamide beginning 2023. The treatment worked fantastic and all my pain faded away and my psa dropped from 350 to .09 over 11 months. My life was as near normal as can be expected with cancer. Almost immediately my MO was recomending to switch to 4
