Anomaly PSA jump of more than 25%?

Have any of you had a PSA jump (NOT 'bounce' following treatment) that was NOT a sign of recurrence after later having a PSMA-PET to verify? I am not happy with husband's doctor as I pushed to have PSMA-PET done after this jump (before this last PSA there was 6 years of stable PSA following RT w/o ADT), but both husband and doctor said, wait.

I am not sure that this answers your question, however my PSA went from 5.0 to 7.0 in 7 months. At that time I had a prostate biopsy which was negative.

Did your PSA ever go back down without treatment?

It has only been 2 months so I have not had a psa test since. Even when my psa went to

7.0 my Dr. told me that it was ok because of my age , 86 at the time.
