Whole pelvic radiation after testicular cancer?
He mostly feels really great with little side effects from the radiation, and he’s managing the
ADT
side effects with such grace and positivity, despite the changes in his body. We eat fairly clean and he practices mindfulness daily.

Anyone have a high testosterone after SBRT?
Curious if others who had radiation treatment without

, experienced a high Testosterone? Thanks, John

QOL Arm wrestling
I find my energy level remains high and with the exception of some brain fog and minor emotional mood swings I continue to be avoiding most of the
ADT
side effects. The essence of the program is very slow lifts until muscle failure.

Hey everyone, just discovered this site. Great info and support. I had RP in August of 2022. First psa test was 0.1, month later psa 0.8 month later psa 0.22 Psa remained at 0.22 for next 3 months. My urologist who did RP said it could be "reactive lymph nodes". A CT scan and bone scan revealed nothing

I am undergoing

After this will likely have to switch to Enzalutamide and
ADT
. Now having bad fatigue issues; on scale of 1 -10, my fatigue level is 2 - 3. For last 3 years fatigue level was 6 - 7. Any recommendations of beneficial supplements or meds to help improve fatigue level? .... Thanks

Testosterone Recovery in Patients With Prostate Cancer Treated With Radiotherapy Plus ADT

With six months of androgen deprivation therapy (
), 75% of men recovered normal testosterone levels, but the median time to recovery was 18 months. With 18 months of
ADT
, only a quarter of men recovered to normal levels, and the average time was five years. Dr.

Back on ADT
Its getting harder to see my MO these days and the last 2 visits were with a very pretty NP with grey, blue eyes (all I could see over the mask) That novelty wore off (thanks
ADT
) pretty quick so waiting 2 months until the next visit.

Follow up at Duke !!
He confirmed that PSMA PET is now SOC and would have been indicated prior to
ADT
. Also referenced the STAMPEDE info and affirmed that zytiga in addition to
ADT
is recommended. We were only started on

one year ago.

Armpits? Yeah, armpits.
18 months
ADT
and my armpit hair has slowly, but finally, gone 😫.True, it's not a dramatic loss compared to the sacred memory of a hard erection! But a symptom is a symptom, and they all seem to have complications.

QOL Post- Thank you KALIBER!
I was chatting with Kali several months ago after I was considering selling the scooter, fearing the loss of strength due to
ADT
would be an issue picking this 800+ lb machine back up if I ever lost my footing at a stoplight or something... I bought this brand new in 1982 when I was 27 yrs old.

Antibody-drug conjugates (ADT): great perspective (from the latest AACR convention)
There are still some problems with regard to payload release, but they are almost ready to attack most cancer types! https://www.biospace.com/article/aacr-cancer-treatment-and-the-promise-of-antibody-drug-conjugates-/

Thanks and lessons learned
As I complete my course of definitive treatment (MRI guided SBRT and short course
ADT
) and look forward to positive results, I want to give thanks to the people who have helped me along the way (especially my fellow prostate cancer patients here at HealthUnlocked) and offer some lessons I've learned.

Gray area between aggressive contained and Mestasized
I mitigate the physical side effects of the
ADT
by heavy exercise in a gym 3 or 4 times a week, weights and cardio, and walking my dog daily. I mitigate the mental confusion by playing music every day, and the preludes and postludes in my church service on Sundays.

Right Bundle Branch Block(RBBB)
My research shows that Eligard/
ADT
can be a possible cause. Is anyone else dealing with this? I have an Echocardiogram set for this coming Tuesday. I wonder if this could be a cause for my feeling dizzy and weak at times as well as my endurance seems shot to h***.

PALB2 genetic defect-Lynparza
Just completed six cycles of Taxotere as part of triple therapy (chemo, Nubeqa and
ADT
) for about 20 Mets (PSMA scan) mostly skeletal (no organs). Only four Mets still lit up on PSMA scan after four cycles of chemo/Lupron/Nubeqa. Next PSMA scan in Jan. 2024.
