eGFR down 14% since starting ADT

I just noticed that my estimated GFR which measures kidney health is down from 89 in October to 77 in June 2023. In October I started Lupron. Does Lupron impact kidney health? This is something I want to keep track off.

Yes it does.

Its an estimate, so check your creatinine levels along side.

What other evil drugs are you doing??

Tadalafil and a baby aspirin. I need to study this. Creatinine bumped up as well. I will check with my GP to get his take.

Have you had any "scans" recently?

My creatinine goes up, and eGFR goes down for a few weeks after scans with tracer.

As low as 78, then bounces back to 94

CT with tracer, PSMA/PET?

I am concerned about this for my husband as well. He has CKD and has already lost a kidney. I have seen some other posts discussing this. I wonder if it goes back up after stopping ADT?

aspirin can be bad for the kidneys. Discuss with your doctor.
