Sweet!

Had 2nd of 90 days Lupron Feb 1-23 as adjuvant 6-month ADT therapy with my Salvage IMRT. First PSA test yesterday and T level. Undetectable (less than .006 uPSA) and T level of 30. Here's to hoping it stays down. I know BCR may happen over the long run with SVI, PNI, bladder neck, and surgical margins present. Hope for the cure, but happy with the undetectable for sure. I whine about hot flashes, fatigue, muscle loss, weight gain, etc..Guess I should be more grateful.

the Lupron is leaving your system. PE and those nasty side effects should be subsiding. You are through the rough part.

Congrats!

Congrats and best of luck.

Like you I have finished my treatment RT/HT. Two years of LUPRON which I found very difficult. Its hard to say which of the many SE were the worst, glad its over....for now! Had my first post treatment PSA/T test 6 months later- PSA undetectable and T just below normal. My next 6 month PSA/T test is in September , I'm expecting that to be undetectable also as many people here got at least a year before PSA started to increase. I'm hoping I'll be one of the lucky few that enjoy long term undetectable PSA and cancer free. PSA tests have now become like the sword of Damocles hanging over my head. Such is life.
