wondering if traction for back is advised while on ADT
my nutty question, I have a back stretcher and it will pull vertebrae apart. U can do same by lying flat on a table gradually pulling yourself forward till abdomen and chest are perpendicular to floor and arms touching. Try at your own risk. I am not a doctor just an orthopedic nightmare with hundreds

ADT Hot Flashes
I've been on
ADT
since Feb, 2023 maintaining everything ok, play Water Polo 4x a week for 2 hours - master water polo team and lift weights - but in the last few weeks the hot flashes are crazy strong. One minute I'm doing great and then 30 seconds later sweating bullets.

PSA Went Up After Start of ADT
I started
ADT
about two weeks ago and just received my second session of radiation. Prior to starting
ADT
, my PSA was .37 and a month prior was .22. I had blood drawn right after my first session of radiation yesterday and got the result back today. My PSA has gone up to .53. Is this normal

ideal biochemistry monitoring
question: I know that there are protols for regular blood PSA and sometimes Testosterone when on SOC following RT and during the 2-3 years
ADT
(with localised high risk G9-10).

Dad with Stage 4 PCa - Need some words of wisdom...again please!
To keep you up to speed - 3 months ago, his
ADT
injections stopped working and his PSA started to climb up slowly. Oncologist put Dad on Enzalutamide - been on it for 6 cycles - tolerated well but his PSA has gone from 76 to 87 in one week. So Enzalutamide has started to become 'ineffective'.

Low blood pressure from ADT? After almost 2 years on Orgovyx my blood pressure continues to drop.
I’ve seen reports here where most men on
ADT
have rises in blood pressure. Mine continues to drop dramatically while exercising and sometimes just walking around the house. But normal blood pressure is 112/80 with a resting rate of 52 and O2 levels at 95 to 97.

Taurine and ADT weight gain
One thing that many PCa endurers see occurring despite their best efforts is weight gain while on
ADT
. Does the community have any info on whether taurine can help, in conjunction with lots of exercise? I found a couple articles that it might.

Radiation
I am faced with starting a six dose regimen of taxotere now since
ADT
does not seem to be working according to PSMA scans. My psa remains at 1.8 even though the scan showed a small tissue met to shoulder area (no bone). The met did not cause any psa increase. I am a bit gun shy on the chemo.

T level test
They did not do a T level test before, so I am not sure what value it was prior to Surgery or Radiation /
ADT
. Willing to pay out of pocket - but if so, is it just total T that I get? I see a couple of different tests.

Thoughts on ADT with sRT?
Temporary
ADT
can lead to permanent testosterone loss in up to 30% of men. So when we compare sRT-only patients to sRT+temporary
ADT
, what we're really looking at is a mixed cohort, a part of which are effectively being treated with sRT+permanent
ADT

Bloodwork after 4 weeks of SRT and 6 weeks of ADT
I started
ADT
6 weeks ago and SRT 4 weeks ago. I just got my bloodwork back. My PSA went from .373 prior to treatment to .148. Is this where I should be at after these many weeks of treatment. Thank you for your answer in advance

Regulolix [Orgovyx]
My Dr claims that Regulolix doesn't " play well with other
ADT
orals-guess of the "lutamide family " I listed above. I heard there are those that are taking Rugulolix with these "lutamides" and I am wondering whether they have experienced problems with these combos.

Aberiterone / Zytiga first ADT treatment
Anyone have an experience with hormone-sensitive first
ADT
treatment of Zytiga / Aberiterone rather than more typical Lupron? If so, can you share? If others haven't been treated this way but have relevant info, that would also be appreciated. Regards, Jeff

Treatment Comparison Tool
I was surprised to note that if you add
ADT
to the EBRT/Seeds, - the outcomes were less favorable. Perhaps I am reading this chart incorrectly. Has anyone got any thoughts on this comparison tool and also what am I meant to understand by the left-hand scale that ranges from 20 - 120?

Falling ALT - Pathway to Sarcopenia? - More Exercise Needed?
Two years in to my de novo high volume metastatic prostate cancer diagnosis, I am pleased to report excellent results so far with triplet therapy (Docetaxel chemo completed, Abiraterone ARPI, Firmagon/Degarelix GnRH antagonist as
ADT
). However I would be grateful for any advice today.
