What comes after, what comes next?
He talked about what comes next,
ADT
will still be there and it will continue to block a certain amount of the cancer, but the percentage it blocks will decline. He thinks my dad would do well on Pluvicto, but to get to it we would need to try chemo and fail.

stopped 9/22, daralutamide mono therapy until 7/23. Three rounds of docetaxel until 7/17/23. PSA rose from 4.9 to 5.1. PSMA scan showed decline in bone Mets. Tried a bit of fasting. Just switched to cabitaxel due to seeming failure of docetaxel based on PSA rise.

Food supplements I hope will help
While
ADT
starves the cancer, I am taking some food supplements to help with side effects. I tried to select "healthy" supplements that may fight prostate cancer as well. I've included links to a paper on each. Any feedback welcome.

Anyone with complications, or who had to go on
ADT
and found it to be not worth it? Any other comments that are pertinent? And as a possibly meaningful aside, my T level pre surgery was 1116; feels like it's still pretty far up there😉.

Questions about ADT drugs and insurance
Will Medicare cover Lupron injections under part B as it is not self administered (as opposed to pills)? If so how much will they cover (with a supplement plan). Regarding Orgovyx, since it is a pill and not an injection will it be covered under Medicare part D drug coverage? and if so do all of the

ADT "vacation" terminology questions
I see a lot of posters here who say they do
ADT
"vacations." Are there any circumstances when NCCN SoC indicate cessation or interruption of
ADT
and abi? The term "vacation" implies an inevitable return to
ADT
. Do you wait for rising PSA or a fixed time to go by?

Current ADT Recommendation
What I should have said is that I am considering stopping
ADT
at 18 months. Tall_Allen gave a fantastic explanation of the stop/start challenges and I have read through some of Allen's website but I am still not clear on the timeline for
ADT
.

PSMA PET Looks Good But PSA Rising
He was successfully treated with Triplet Therapy and has been off all meds on
ADT
vacation since February 2023 (full history in bio). He still has his prostate. His PSA has been going up since August 2023. The last two checks, it was over 6.

Dumb Question about rising PSA after initial RT.
If you still have a prostate after RT treatment 7 years ago ( NO
ADT
), could a slowly rising PSA just be 'natural' as you age?

mCRPC. Total PSA is up from 1.2 to 2.1 in 2 months, but free PSA went to 14% from 5%. Can this be hyperplasia, or in ADT any PSA up is PCa?

any PSA up is PCa regardless of free to total PSA ratio ?

Weight LOSS on ADT
Hey all. I was diagnosed with PCa Oct. 2018. After radiation, Zytiga and Lupron, my PSA dropped to no-detect, where it has stayed for the past 3+ years. All very good news, right? Yes....mostly. Though I've dealt with continuing hot flashes and fatigue, my big concern right now is weight loss. I'm normally

Would I be on thin ice if I tried adaptive ADT this soon?
After 6 weeks on Lupron and 9 days on abiraterone, my PSA was .1, and my testosterone was <1. This is within the criteria being used to start people on adaptive in this MCSPC Moffitt study with Jingsong Yang - (he says I can just follow the protocol without being in the study)https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
