He ended up with an alcohol
addiction
and gambling problems. At the moment we are nowhere near the point we was at last year but I suppose im looking for ways to support him so we don't fall that far backwards. Hes not the counselling talking type so im limited.

Fizzy juice
I don’t know if anyone has ever had an
addiction
to fizzy juice I don’t eat a lot of sweets or crisps but I can’t seem to stop drinking it. I drink at least 3 litres every day probably closer to 4 if I’m being honest .

DO YOU FIND SMOKING RELAXING? HERE ARE 5 REASONS WHY.
Feeding the nicotine
addiction
will obviously reverse these effects and make you feel calmer and so because of this, you begin to associate smoking with feeling relaxed.

Addicted to Sadness?
Maybe it's an
addiction
, maybe not. But I would love to know if anyone else feels this way.

Clonazepam addiction
Every time I don’t take Clonazepam before bed I wake up feeling suicidal I enjoy the relief the pill gives me and I’m becoming dependent on it to escape my emotions I can feel a tolerance building as well as a dependency. I heard withdraws are killer and can be dangerous should I get off of them?

Missing group support?
Is anyone suffering from missing group support for
addiction
? A lot of support groups that normally meet face to face have had to shut down.

Any one else suffering with addiction?
Hey everyone, I have been a member here for a long time but never posted. I tend to have trouble validating my own issues while always trying to help other people. I have been on and off heroin or medical substitutes for the last 10 years , I have 2 small kids and a job (before the coronavirus anyway

Thanks to my depression, anxiety, inattentive ADD,
addiction
(once an addict, always an addict, whether you've quit or not), being a past victim, current parent, and all the other events I've endured and the broken brain I live with I have become a much more interesting person than I would have without

Woohoo! Done it!
Consolidation awaits, then onwards to reach 5k before
addiction
truly sets in! This is my first post- and might well be my last as I'm not given to public proclamations! I have enjoyed reading about all your personal journeys; the stories, humour and determination have kept me going.

A tale as old as time
A tale as old as time. my annual attempt to beat my coffee
addiction
. IN the past when I'd beaten it, I would show up for races bright-eyed and insufferably chipper. As most other bleary-eyed runners were sucking down last drops before the gun goes off.
