How to Take a Work Break Without Smoking
Giving up smoking shouldn’t come with the added disincentive of giving up work breaks Of course, there is smoking
addiction
. But compounding that there is also the unhelpful misconception that breaks in general are lazy and feckless.

The desire to move more quickly is high, especially as I think the PMR is very low grade now and it's the
addiction
to steroids causing me issues. But I'll be patient and go slow.

Question about yeast/candida on skin
I admit, I have a horrible
addiction
to Dr. Pepper and would most likely drop half my weight if I stopped drinking it. I’m very self-aware and just keeping it real! 😂 I’m also not a yogurt person—it makes me gag. I know that can help yeast infections.

Looking for advice and motivation!
Nicotine
addiction
is pretty pathetic. I still made it through that night, but as I mentioned a couple of sentences ago I did end up giving in sometime on that 3rd day. And not just a little bit. Like smoked all day kind of caving.

My Solution for Restless Legs/Body Syndrome
I have been doing this for several months now with no apparent
addiction
or side effects apart from general tummy upsets but these are nothing compared with the benefits including full night's sleep.

Non smoking 4 Years of an Amazing life
But..Not once I thought that a cigarette would make life easier in difficult times and in good times I thanked the lord for giving me the strength to get rid of the nasty
addiction
… To quote Allan Gary “Life isn’t always beautiful, but it's a beautiful ride.”

Update
I'm not going to die on my kids because of a selfish
addiction
. Time to cut out the beer. Day 1 of sobriety starts tomorrow for me...yes, I am having a beer or two today to calm my nerves. Tomorrow starts a change for me.

Always Feeling Tired Unless I have Caffeine
I don't drink caffeine very often (so it's not an
addiction
issue), but it is only when I do that I feel good at all. The problem is, when I take caffeine, I don't feel tired or depressed anymore, but I start to feel anxious or overly hyper (like I'm on speed or something).

Our biggest worry for our kids
Well this TED ( Technology, Education and Design) talk discusses about the root of
addiction
and why people do drugs... https://youtu.be/PY9DcIMGxMs We work on so many "fronts"- medication, education, etc.. what if we tried to fill our kids lives with a very supportive network.
