Covid coverage triggering
Hi all, I hope you are staying as safe & well as can be in these scary times. I was just wondering whether anyone else is finding all of the coverage on TV regarding Covid quite triggering? It is of course very important that it is visible on TV for everybody to see what is going on in hospitals and

Edwards Syndrome diagnosis
Hi everyone, at my 12 week dating scan, they found my little one had lots of fluid around neck and shoulders, tiny in the outside and enlarged bladder. The hormone tests came back with 1 in 5 chance of Edwards. I'm waiting on the results of NIPT test and had a CVS done yesterday. I'm absolutely devastated

Routine bloodwork and Phlebotomy
My doctor has created a standing order for me to continue to get bloodwork every 4 weeks as my Pegasys dose increases. And he says if the hematocrit is still elevated I’ll have to continue with monthly phlebotomies as well. He says the risk of thrombosis outweighs the risk of covid-19. Are other folks

I spent all Friday crying and I triggered a migraine. I get them a lot due to my endo but I hadn’t had one for a few months now. The issue is it won’

Feeling Abandoned and pointless
Today I feel like ending my life. The trauma the pain I have endured is bad enough without being made to feel unimportant or that what happened to me is insignificant. I was told that I was to have reconstructive surgery in six months, this has been the only thing getting me through this nightmare. A

Any success stories?
My son is almost 7 and has almost daily pee and poo
accidents
. We spent about 1 1/2 yrs going to Boston Children's Hospital and a child behavioral psychologist. Rewards, punishments, sticker charts... nothing works. Still struggle if it is physical or behavioral. It's exhausting!!

Nursery staff ratios and toilet accidents
I posted on here yesterday re an issue we have at my sons nursery. I had a meeting with the nursery this afternoon and have been told that if he poos or wees, but especially if he poos, they cant change him as they are 3 staff tp 24 children and so parents will need to be called to change their child

Child on Movicol wetting underwear before bowel movements
I’m terrified of her becoming constipated again, she is very prone to UTIs as a result of constipation so I really don’t want it to build up again but this amount of wetting
accidents
is really upsetting her.

Mothers Day...
The day I always hope would fill my heart with joy, also a day I thought would perhaps be a good omen for a positive outcome...I was meant to start down regulation tomorrow. My clinic said I could go ahead but it would be a freeze all cycle and meds would be reduced to prevent ohss. 2 things that would

Anxiety during coronavirus panic buying
A lot of people in my area are partaking in panic buying and clearing the shelves of things like wipes and toilet roll which as an IBS sufferer it’s something I need a lot of. I know I have quite a few at the moment but the fact that I may get to a point where I cannot get any toilet roll is really panicking

Nappy Blowouts with 8 month old.... solution or do they grow out of it please?
Although it's inconvenient to change him, then soak and clean everything in Napisan it is a big nuisance as the washing machine is running daily for mainly vests and
accidents
. I didn't know they were called blowouts and was too embarrassed to ask others at the Children's Centre.

Pushed my self too far - like an idiot
Hi all, hope your having a good week! Unfortunately I can not say the same...over the weekend I was doing some door to door charity work with my local young farmers club-selling donated veg eggs and pig muck for your garden. Obviously the heavy lifting and large amount of walking didn’t help me but

Hiya I'm prescribed an opioid for pain which makes me extremely blocked up, I'm also on other meds like diazepam & meds for copd etc. My question is can I take Senna with laxido, as I've gone from been extremely sensitive to laxido to it barely working at all. yes it's keeping stuff soft but I still
