PV treatment has lowered my HCT to 29
I have P Vera with Jak2 burden of 88%. I am on 500 mg of Hydroxyurea daily. I had four phlebotomies in March and another in mid April to lower my Rbc, Hct. My RBC started near 8 and is now down to 3.9, my HCT started at 58% and is now down to 29%. My Dr took me off Hydroxyurea until my numbers improve

Can brown spotting be classed as your period when ringing to start FET medication?
Been waiting for AF to start so I can start another FET. A week after expected I start to spot brown blood. Then yesterday morning some more. With it being BH weekend and worried when the clinic was open I called to say I'd started my period, was given a scan appointment for the 13th and told to start

Public health expert: We must learn to live with Covid

Week 10 Tocilizumab and all is well...
Now, if I can refrain from falling or any further
accidents
... I can get on with life! Ah, but I live on the Moray coast and we have an outbreak here, so I am pretty much doing the same as I have been for the past year.

Nefopam overdose?
I’ve had a rough week and had what felt like convulsions Wednesday night - felt rough all yesterday as well just quite sleepy then thought this morning I should check my doses of tablets and side effects. I’ve been taking 3 x 30mg of Nefopam instead of 2 x 30mg of Nefopam three times a day for at least

Running songs
Morning folk, I was just wondering if people would like to post some great running ( and warm down) music. I have downloaded some already but would really appreciate some new ones. My suggestions for great running and inspiring tracks are: invincible by Muse, stuck in the middle with you by Steelers

Thoughts on hypoxic brain injury recovery?
Hi, I'm fairly new to the forum but wanted to reach out to see if anyone may have had any similar experiences. My mother in law suffered a hypoxic brain injury whilst in hospital late feb and hasn't really regained any meaningful recovery yet. She had only been admitted around 24 hours earlier for unknown

Helping son overcome potty accidents (enuresis/encopresis)
My problem is this: my little man still has daily
accidents
, and the people who were helping us at the local hospital seem to have given up on us. They tell us to "keep doing what we're doing" (ie. Charts, timed bathroom breaks, 504 at school), but we aren't making progress.

How stable can we expect to be on T4/T3 combination therapy? / Hashis and jobs.
Hi - I’m on a T4/T3 combination trial and think we might be closing in on the right dose, finally, which is good. I’m not 100% sure yet, but things are definitely better than they have been since I scored an increase in T3 last week. I feel well enough today that I’m in the mood for considering getting

Bedwetting and not realizing it
The
accidents
never got to her and I didn't feel it and I guess it was dry by the time I woke up. I chatted with some product suppliers today and everyone suggested either back to regular diapers or trying pull ups first.

Air pollution 🏭🚗🚌
Following the news coverage yesterday on air pollution in relation to the tragic death of 9 year old Ella Adoo-Kissi-Debrah, you may find this post helpful: [i]Connecting the dots between asthma and air pollution can be incredibly hard because the threat is invisible. It might be difficult to link exposure

Yet another update
I've lost track of what I've posted.. but we're still in hospital. Mixed opinions re impaction, but agreement at least around some level of constipation so on low ish level of Movicol/Laxido. Numerous tests, still in pain but now also with an absolute fear of eating. They are leaning more towards
