Disimpaction complete?
My son has had a couple of small
accidents
in between toilet sits since then. Is this a sign his bowel is still settling down or he is still impacted?

Beautiful day today, no unplanned
accidents
like yesterday, no ,nice and quiet. I like life like that and so should YOU. Well, just follow your daily routine, take it easy and look after yourself. Be good and kind, try to ignore the global calamities and think a little of yourself.

And she's been having terrible runny
accidents
ALL afternoon every 20 mins or so, literally unable to keep it all in.Are we done?! I don't think rusty water is ever going to come for us honestly.

I am an older gay man and I have a diagnosis of IBS. Am I alone ?
This is a sensitive issue for me. As a gay man, I am increasingly returning to the closet, reluctantly. This is because of years of IBS which has worsened in recent years. I do now have a diagnosis of IBSd, and my GP prescribes Loperamide for me, and Mebeverine. It is a potentially very embarrassing

Librax side effects
Hello to the IBS Community,
š I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out because I've been navigating stress-induced IBS, and it's been quite a journey. The symptomsāpain, nausea, bloating, inflammationāhave been challenging, to say the least. I have been feeling pain daily for months

Some good news.
I have not posted about my progression for some time but wanted to share some good news. I had CyberKnife (basically SBRT) to remove a 2.2 cm adenocarcinoma from the right lung in Nov/Dec of 2020. It was found coincidentally when I had a PET for a spinal meningioma which was removed surgically in July

Ovary discomfort a month after failed ET.
Iāve been experiencing some dull aches in my ovary over the last few days. Occasionally I get sharp pains in my ovary, although I have always had this now and again. It has been about a month since my ET which failed and I have had a bleed since. And I have already ovulated. I spoke to my clinic and

Phosphatidylserine
I thought I posted here about phosphatidylserine but can't find it now.... Does anyone know anything about taking this with APS? It is a phospholipid so as I have antibodies to phospholipids, shouldn't this mean that supplementing with phospholipids could help? Or would it hinder? The product helps

Advice re. Churchill hospital
Can anyone who attends the Churchill hospital in Oxford give me a little guidance please. I have been referred to haematology there and have an appointment in late May. I will have to drive to get there (a round trip of about 70 miles) and I understand that parking there is pretty hellish. So if anyone

post right hemicolectomy functional bowel disorder
my son age 7 during storm Emma passed out and vomited continuously, we had to take him to the nearest accessible hospital with ice chains on the car , they just said it was viral. A scan the next day revealed intersusception so his bowel was blocked , he developed sepsis. He had a right hemicolectomy

Colonoscopy v Colonography
Has anyone else been told they have a loopy bowel and it is not advisable to have a colonoscopy anymore. They recommended ct colonography, but i am worried about the amount of radiation this needs. Apparently 2yrs normal exposure in one go. Anyone else had this predicament?

I was trying to talk myself out of running yesterday, especially after losing an hour, then I figured if I was going to have Roast turkey and possibly Easter Egg then it made sense to burn some calories š. Both myself and my son had managed to sleep in till nearly 10 ( nearly 9 in old money) which

How to Know When Disimpaction is Complete
I'm doing disimpaction for my 7 year old. She's been constipated and on laxatives for years. I did 2 weeks of the sachet schedule and then 6 days adding bisacodyl tablet at night & suppository morning. She's had very watery stool (sometimes clear or light brown with just tiny bits spraying out, sometimes
