Alfuzosin doesn't make a difference!
I have been taking Alfuzosin for years, but getting a little dizzy, so I went off for 3 weeks. I did not notice any difference in my urination after I went off, OR when I went back on. What is going on? Should I just go off this drug or is it doing something beneficial but unseen? Why would some

One cancer apparently not enough!
I had a really good result from PSMA-PET scan in November 2022. PSA had bottomed out to 0.04 over six months. But PSMA did indicate one slight met on L4. January 2023, PSA had risen to 1.9. I elected to have targeted radiation to the L4. No complications or side effects, but two weeks after the

Hi all, Still fighting to get any support even though it has been confirmed I have lupus! I now have started to get giant boils in my groin and armpit. Does anyone else get these? Sorry about the graphic image 😞 I am in so much pain and all my neck glands are up too.

TURP for prostate cancer patients
It’s more than 6 months since my last post. My dad took Lu-J591 in last August 2022 and I planned to share his experience if the result’s positive. Unfortunately, his PSA did not reduce and now it is 135. From last April, he had suprapubic catheterization because of urine retention. It makes him easily

anorgasmia after prostate surgery years ago
I'm just wondering if other men had this after a prostate surgery. I lost the ability to orgasm or ejaculate. I knew that this could be possible but I didn't expect this to last this long (its been more than 6 years). I thought I could deal with this on my own but that was a mistake. i wonder if

I don’t understand!

Cellulitis in foot and hands, leading to dramatic skin changes all over my body
I have primary lymphoedema in my left foot which has been well controlled through compression and daily creaming of the affected area. Despite showing no signs of any lesion I developed cellulitis which went un-diagnosed for a week or so as I was unaware of what it was. My foot and ankle were very swollen

Running again after operation
I’ve read several posts about starting to run after an illness but I’m not sure if the advice is valid for post operative running. I have completed C25K a couple of times since Jan 2021 but have had long breaks between for various reasons. I got to week 7 in August of this year then had time away followed

Radiation and Large Median Lobe
