anorgasmia after prostate surgery years ago

I'm just wondering if other men had this after a prostate surgery. I lost the ability to orgasm or ejaculate. I knew that this could be possible but I didn't expect this to last this long (its been more than 6 years). I thought I could deal with this on my own but that was a mistake.

i wonder if other who had a turp done is back to normal in terms of orgasms and ejaculations. i sometimes feel so frustrated I just cry myself to sleep. I'm talking with my doctor but I'm wished I didn't feel this way

I was told before my turp that I would not ejaculate any more, but that I would still experience an orgasm. However I have found that without the ejaculation the orgasm is not the same. It still feels good but it is more of a fade rather than a climax. Being 70 years old and still enjoying a very happy marriage I'm not too distressed about this as I've enjoyed nearly 50 years of wonderful sex with my wife, however you may be in a very different situation to me and I'm sorry you find it so distressing.
