root canal work while on zoledronic acid infusions
I have 6 monthly dental checkups, and for years all has been well. I had my first zoledronic acid infusion 28th December 2023. My last dental checkup was in March. A week ago I started getting intermittent pains in the right side of my jaw, both bottom and top. GP ruled out PMR and recommended I visit

Can pelvic pain come suddenly and then disappear after few hours?
Hi all, I've had abscess near uterus and reoccurring pelvic pain for over a year. Past few months , pain will come out of the blue , be very severe, and then disappear after few hours. I'm not sure if it's the same pain I had when abscess was discovered or it's something else. Does anyone else have

Leave pelvic abscess and monitor?
Hi all, At gynecology appointment today the doctor said I could opt for surgery to remove abscess in fallopian tubes )and possible one ovary ) or I could leave for six months and just monitor how I get on , as I'm not in pain all the time. At the moment having flare ups of pain roughly twice a month.

Finally I can give you all an update.I've been to my Endocrinologist (1st time)and I am now on a 6 month waiting list for the Radioactive Iodine treatment. I then had my bone density scan. Then back to the doctor for bloods as the result showed Osteoporosis secondary to Hyperthyroidism (the latter diagnosed

hello all - looking for other experiences
{added after reading this -trigger warnings for pretty much everything] hello everyone - don’t worry - this is hopefully a calm normal post rather than recent more difficult ones I am not looking for diagnosis or for professional help (this is trying to happen seperately) because this isn’t the purpose

Hello - I’m struggling
My brother almost died from sepsis due to a huge abscess left untreated by the hospital. On the scans they found him to have child Pugh class C decompensated liver cirrhosis. Total shock to us. He’s no longer decompensated but is seriously ill after being in hospital for two months, having three surgery

The UV is increasing this week
THE UV INDEX WILL REACH 6 IN PARTS OF THE UK THIS WEEKEND, MEANING THE SUN’S UVB ‘BURNING RAYS’ ARE HIGH!’ - BE SURE TO PROTECT YOUR SKIN! Cumulative sun exposure is the main cause of non-melanoma skin cancers (the most commonly diagnosed cancer worldwide) and sunburn plays a clear role in the development

USP or API sources for different NDT thyroid brands
Hi, I was wondering if anybody has information about which NDT brands use which Desiccated Thyroid Extract (USP or API) sources and where these USP/API sources are manufactured? I am particularly interested to know about Armour, NP and Erfa and even the new brand Adthyza.

Gingko Biloba - Supplement Advice
Hello everyone, I'm reaching out for advice on using Ginkgo Biloba to combat brain fog. My previous experience with the Amitamin Ginkgo complex yielded promising results in boosting mental clarity. However, I've noticed it contains iodine (150ug), which I'd rather steer clear of. With that in mind
