athletes foot ?
Iâve always had problem with my pinky toe as it bends under my other toe. Itâs never been this bad. Normally when itâs sore and itchy I apply athlete foot cream and it goes within a few days as sweat gets trapped easily. Iâve been using athletes foot cream for 3 weeks now and I donât think it is that

New to this
Hi All, I'm so new to this that I'm still in the diagnosis phase. Went in for regular blood work today and came back with lymphocytes at 7.7K, low monos, which triggered a slid, which shows atypical lymphocytes. Language below: Lymphocytosis with atypical lymphocytes and smudge cells. Clinical

OK, I'm starting from the beginning!
Right, after many attempts at restarting at week 6 and repeatedly going off the boil, I have decided to go right back to square one and start from the very beginning (a very good place to start đ). Please may I ask you all to keep me accountable? I can do it, it's just a question of getting my mojo

CLL / Skin Cancer - getting it checked in the UK
Just saw another post about the risks of exposure to the sun. We spend a lot of our summer sailing around the Brittany coast of France, which is beautiful and also sunny, so being in the sun is unavoidable to a degree. I am not a sun bather but always use factor 50, wide brimmed hat etc and always seek

CLL and skin cancer
The CLL webinar yesterday was all about various skin cancers and early warning signs. With blood cancer, we are more vulnerable. It was very interesting with different people discussing the treatment they had had. Something which came out was that it's important to obviously get treatment quickly but

TURP Prior to Radiation: Opinions?
63yo, Gleason 4+4, PSA 0.055, 2 measurable mets in pelvic lymph nodes-right iliac chain I finished a round of 6 chemo treatments in mid-February. I'm currently on Lupron and Nubeqa. My last PSA was 0.055. I decided to take a break before I start radiation in August or September to do some travel and

Skin Cancer is the Worldâs most common cancer!
SKIN CANCER IS THE WORLDâS MOST COMMON CANCER! Check your skin monthly and get to know every lump, bump, mole, freckle and mark. Keep an eye out for anything NEW, that looks or feels UNUSUAL, or is CHANGING in size, shape, colour, surface characteristics or sensation - and if in doubt get it checked

A tip for Australians with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia trying to access pneumococcal vaccination through the National Immunisation Program
What a morning I've had to get my third pneumococcal vaccine. I'll share the details here as the solution I found could help others with CLL in Australia who are having difficulty accessing these vaccines through the National Immunisation Program (NIP). In Australia, since 1 July 2020, it's standard

High Dose Niacin (Nicotinic Acid) and Hashimoto's?
Update 01/22/2023: I just learned there is an increased risk of diabetes on niacin therapy: https://heart.bmj.com/content/102/3/198 This study was based on people taking Niacin for cardiovascular reasons, which I think would be dosed at 500 to 6000 mg a day: https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements

PSA after 4-5 months on Lupron (Scholz)?
