Green tea does not suit everyone!
Hi my husband has been hypothyroid for over 17 years. For the last 5 or 6 years has been very lethargic and lacking energy to such an extent that he has had to reduce his working to two days a week. I (not hypothyroid) was recently advised to drink green tea by a dermatologist to help scar healing

Results confirmed thyroid cancer
Well, following my hemithyroidectomy on 2nd Jan, it was confirmed for me this evening that my lump was in fact Papillary Thyroid Cancer. I feel as though I knew this news was coming, but don't know a lot about it. So if anyone can offer anything positive I'd be really grateful. Any handy hints welcome

Fungal nail treatment
I have what I think is a fungal nail infection in one of my fingernails. I am reluctant to take yet more oral medication due to the state of my liver. Anyone found anything else that gets rid of it?

21weeks pregnant is it safe to be around children who have chicken pox?
I've been really looking forward to seeing my 5year old niece for christmas but now she has the chikenpox.. Her spots have come up now so usually that's not contagious but will it be of any harm to my baby.. I had chicken pox when I was 2years old ? Any idea!?

Skin Cancer and CLL a Mayo community study...
'Patients with CLL are at higher risk of developing melanoma and other skin malignancies. The survival of patients with melanoma is worse, stage for stage, in patients with CLL than patients without. It is thought that early diagnosis of skin cancer is critical to improving survival in CLL patients.'

C25k Wk4 R3 - Week 4 Finally Over!
Well that took some time to get all those 3 runs done but in fact this was the easiest of the 3 as hoped, so the breaks didn't seem to hold me back. Ran on the field today and the grass was short and dry and easier on the legs than the pavement. Looking forward to week 5!

Welcome to my life...... HS... I hate it!!!! :)
I contracted HS when I was 18. (32 years ago - Yeah! I'm old). I was told straight off from a works nurse that it was only dirty people who get puss lumps under their arms. I had a massive lump under my right armpit. Because of this, I kept it and didn't consult my GP. However, it quickly spread to the
