gallbladder removal
Hello, I had my gallbladder removed a week ago today (keyhole). Recovery from surgery has been an absolute breeze, other than I slept for 4 days solid; despite telling pre op nurse, anaesthetist, recovery and ward nurse that I have PA and B12 deficiency and reacted very badly to an anaesthetic 10 years

Hi all , I'm just wondering if anyone knows how long you have to wait after steroid injection in the bottom before having
gallbladder

I've been told operation will be in 2 to 3 mths unless a cancellation comes in. But a friend said I'll have to wait 3mths now

Further update Gallbladder removal
So I am home after a long day. Had to get up at 5am to be at hospital by 7am. All the usual preps and questions then operation took place at 10am. Because I have an LBBB (No underlying heart issues) They were extra careful with monitoring so had an extra canula thingy in my inner wrist to monitor heart

Turns out may have been gallstones but after gallbladder removal could have been both !
So opted for a
gallbladder
removal
but tbh I was told that I could still have symptoms of acid reflux. Wondering if anyone has had their gallbladder removed and suffered with a hematoma which hasn’t disappeared.

Sorry another q. omeprazole and sulfasalazine
🥴 I've also now got a
gallbladder
full of tiny gallstones and been told to consider
gallbladder
removal
. And apparently omeprazole can upset the bile and cause gallstones do GP is changing omeprazole to famotodine? Do you take this 2 hours before sulfasalazine? Totally confused!

Hey MPN-ers 😊 It’s recently become recommended for me to have my gallbladder removed. Not really in any pain but sporadic discomfort and upon ultrasound it was discovered my gallbladder is full of stones 🥴 I’ve been reading up on some patients side affects after and the stress it puts on the liver

Update re: Gallbladder issue.
Referred for a scan, resulting in referral to gastro consultation, resulting in referral for
gallbladder
removal
resulting in appointment on the 9th. I am so grateful to that Locum who took me seriously and listened to me and then got everything moving.

Diverticular Disease after gallbladder removal
However since
removal
of my
gallbladder
I find having extra fibre gives me diarrhoea, which doesn't help the diverticular disease. I have had one episode of diverticulitis so I'm aware that I'm quite lucky so far.

Shocked and confused about gallbladder result
Also, does
gallbladder
removal
put added stress on the liver? I have worked pretty hard to restore my liver health and I am afraid of taking a huge step backward. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Newly diagnosed
Hey y'all. I was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis, I had an acute attack and was hospitalized for 11 days. I've never had issues before now that I knew of, but upon doing a CAT scan they discovered a 9cm cyst on my pancreas. I don't drink, but I did eat quite poorly unfortunately. I had to wait for

Hi I'm not sure where to start. Roughly 4 years ago I started suffering pain in my right side. Which gradually got worse. It came on around the time my mother died, so for quite a long time I put it down to stress, Finally I went to my GP after many, many appointments was finally given a scan which
