Inactive Bladder
I had prostate surgery in November. That went OK but my bladder doesn't work or contract to pump the urine out normally. Therefore, I have to use a catheter. The reason I had the surgery was I had 3000 cc of urine in my bladder. Has anyone had this issue and was it resolved?

Losing my hope - Chronic Gastritis!
It’s almost a year that I’ve been suffering from chronic gastritis. I’ve done everything – endoscopies and biopsies – and it was found to be chronic gastritis. I have lost 5 kgs. How can I overcome this? If I reduce the medication, my digestive system doesn’t work properly, and if I take the medication

colonoscopy and Apixiban
Has anyone been on Apixiban and referred for a colonoscopy after testing positive for blood in stool. I’m consumed with fear having had a call from my doctor saying I would be referred for a colonoscopy. Told me my FIT result was 24.8 and that referrals are made for anything over 10. She (my doctor)

ibs flare/endo?
I had the endo done because ever since last summer I’ve been having bad
stomach
pain in the morning, and acid reflux out of the blue. I’m 37 and I’ve had a long history of gi issues. I’ve been constipated my whole life and in 2015 was put on miralax daily.

Anxiety related IBS?
Hi, I have IBS and colitis (in remission). Mornings have always been difficult with frequent bowel movements and urgency, going 4-5 times in first few hours of walking. Now I’ve also realised when I have to travel / leave the house to do a journey it’s worse again, just keep going to the loo! I think

But around 2 months after the removal & trying to get on with my life I started having blood in my stool with mucus a lot of constipation & diarrhea with minor cramps around my

Gastroscopy yesterday
Several biopsies were taken from
stomach
and duodenum. If I had autoimmune gastritis I’m assuming this would have been apparent during the procedure, is that right? Concerningly my GP had made no mention of B12 deficiency or iron deficiency on my referral.

Private Colonoscopy Scotland
I’m looking to see if anyone has experience of paying privately for a colonoscopy in Scotland. Looking for an idea of costs and location. I don’t have a diagnosis for Crohn’s/colitis but I do have coeliac disease, IBS, acid reflux and lactose intolerance. I also have a family history of colitis.

Hi everyone, I have always struggled with keeping a record of my symptoms when it comes to GERD and then translating that to the doctors. I have experienced random symptoms and it was always hard to communicate this with the doctors. For the past two years, I have struggled to identify what is wrong

Reoccurring Small Bowel Obstruction During Niraparib Treatment
Hello, I had 8 rounds of chemo and extensive surgery - debulking for ovarian cancer stage 3C. I started on Niraparib 5 months after surgery and coincidentally started to have small bowel obstructions. I feel that the constipation that Niraparib causes is contributing to small bowel obstructions.

Stomach burning
Hello PA family, just needed to ask a quick question, " does anyone else suffer from occasional burning in the
stomach
"? I do have pernicious anemia/ B12 deficiency/ gastritis but I haven't had these symptoms since I was first diagnosed. Really curious as to why it will show up again.
