Has anyone else found that their symptoms of IBS increase after taking mebervive. I was prescribed it, and when I have taken it my stomach flares up, I get major bloating and really sharp stomach pains? Has anyone else had this or is it just me?

IBS struggle
Hi. I've been struggling with IBS for a few years now. I am also allergic to dairy products. I try and have a healthy diet but it is very difficult. I eat low FODMAP dinners most days and have low FODMAP lunches when I'm at work. I take biomel powder in my banana and peanut butter smoothie twice a day

I’m a 25 year old female and I was diagnosed with IBS many years ago. I used to get really bad stomach pains after eating and then the pain would subside after having diarrhoea this happened for awhile on and off this made me very anxious and I was weary at what I ate I stopped eating red meat for awhile

Does endoscopy replace colonoscopy?
Hello beautiful PA fam, I wanted to know if any of you guys with PA also have gastritis from it and therefore have to get upper endoscopy and colonoscopy periodically. The reason I'm asking, my doctor did a upper endoscopy on me and told me I didn't need a colonoscopy for the next 10 years and it

Rejected by NHS again
Hi everyone. After being diagnosed with gastritis (cause unknown) in December I took the advice of the gastroenterologist and started Omeprazole treatment. I’ve been having stomach issues for at least 7 years. After four months of treatment I was experiencing breakthrough symptoms so decided to taper

Do PPIs affect absorption of thyroid meds?
Hi, quick question - I've got acute gastritis at the moment. I'm taking 15mg lansoprazole. I also take Armour. I'm worried the lansoprazole is going to affect how my Armour is absorbed. Has anyone had this problem? GP told me to take them at different times of day, but I hardly think that will help

Headed for PTN? Mysterious high volume bulky stools daily following infectious colitis
Rather worried. A bit of a long story. Part 2 was some infectious agent that caused. 39.7 degrees fever followed by severe diarrhea. CT scan found it caused proctocolitis. Now it gets strange (?) Immediately following diarrhea cessation was abnormal bulky high volume stools. A few times a day for first

Father suffers from chronic constipation
My father 76 year old has his parkinson is somewhat under control. He takes mucuna 4 times a day and is generally physically okay. His tremor is a lot better than it used to be and he does his daily exercises. He still at work, now from home. The only thing that bothers him is his constipation. Last

Peace of Mind
Over the past several months I've not been quite as active on the forum. This has been because I've been busy attending a host of appointments with different medical professionals, ranging from the practise nurse to various consultants, all in order to discover the cause of some uncomfortable and worrying

Frozen transfer tips
Hi everyone. I am preparing for a frozen transfer after my fresh transfer failed in February. I had wanted to wait until my cycle was back too normal . I had become disillusioned with all the acupuncture and reflexology and just all the things I’d stopped doing because of TTC for 3 years . Now I
