Pain in the stomach area
Hi everyone, first of all thank you for taking the time to read my post. I had my Gall Bladder out last year in April. Since then I have had nothing but problems, I don't know whether it is all connected to having this removed but I think it is too much of a coincidence. First I have had severe pain

Any idea what is going on?
Any idea what might be going on? I'm not diagnosed but I have had tests done (2 colonoscopies which showed no inflammation but 1 colonoscopy showed ulcers in the terminal ileum but the biopsies were normal). A CT scan showed chronic active inflammation in my terminal ileum and caecum. I then had an abnormal

why does it take so long to start Adalimumab
My consultant suggested I start this over 6 weeks ago and since then I’ve had several blood tests, X-ray and in 3 weeks an appointment to discuss the meds etc with the nurse which I understand all this needs to be carried out. But when can I start taking the injections? I’m going on holiday in 4 weeks

low pancreatic elastase
hello, I was recently admitted to hospital for severe weight loss due to my ongoing gastrointestinal issues. I have been tested for everything but oddly a liquid stool test showed pancreatic elastase levels at <15 which is very low. This result does explain my chronic diarrhea, undigested food and

Colonoscopy tomorrow, currently prepping and worried
Hi there, despite following all advice and treatments suggested by doctors I kept having rectal bleeding for 8 months, possibly due to a chronic anal fissure according to the last GI specialist I saw, though the previous Dr’s concluded no fissure was present and one haemorrhoid that was very small..I

Colon cancer as secondary cancer
Hi I just got diagnosed with colon cancer last week and I am lucky I will have the operation to remove it on Tuesday - a very good Kaiser surgeon got me in quickly. It's not clear if it has advanced - I hope not- so we will see. I had a CT scan for the CLL in March when they saw something in the colon

Preparing myself for a full hysterectomy, bowel resection and stents in bladder......
Has anyone been through this or similar? I'm desperate for support and I'm terrified about this operation. I have been given a 50% chance of a better quality of life. It's a lot to go through for those stats.....

ibs constipation
so I finally went to pelvic floor therapy and they told me that there is no poop in the rectum. That the poop is stuck in my sigmoid based on where I pointed in the upper butt part. My stool is soft and sits there and I go usually one in 2 weeks- a month. I can not pass gas unless it wants to come. I

Nothing stops stomach pain
Hi, I'm new here. I've been diagnosed with IBS. I have been prescribed Amitriptyline but it hasn't helped stop daily stomach pain. Cocodamol nor Buscopan has helped either. Does anyone have any other suggestions of how to help relieve stomach pain. I don' t get bloating but the pain can be unbearable
