Ring pessary pain

I have had 2 ring pessaries for anterior vaginal prolapse fitted as the first was too large . The second pessary fitted a few days is causing similar pain around the bottom of my stomach - rather like a period pain . Has anyone had anything similar and does it settle down

Yes I've had my second one fitted...... the first only lasted a few hours then came out! The second I've had for a month and I'm persevering with it ....... Some days I get a dull ache like mild period pain. Yesterday ( we are away at the moment) I walked rather further than normal and was worried it was slipping down? I've read you can contine a sexual relationship but not sure how exactly...... have to ask the physio next time I go
