Pessary Moved
I have a cone
pessary
fitted in June last year which had to be replaced in July as it dislodged and was extremely hard for the consultant to remove.

Women with POP...have questions
I would like to know how women using a
pessary
handle their sex life. Do you remove the
pessary
or are you able to leave it in like using a diaphragm?

Pessaries and toilet habits!
My question is, is there a minimum amount of time between using a
pessary
and then being allowed to have a bowel movement, ie if you have a bowel movement within an hour of using a
pessary
, would you need to replace the
pessary
with a new one? I can't find anything about this on Google! Thanks 🩷

Cube pessary disaster
After examination she recommended a size 4 cube
pessary
. To paraphrase - insertion was a struggle (I’m OK with smears, IUD insertion & childbirth) and removal not much better. I declined to continue with it & was fitted with a ring
pessary
to remain in for 6 months.

Recurrent vaginal thrush- need urgent help
My GP nurse saw me and suggested Canesten
pessary
. I took it but to no avail (also the
pessary
did not work properly) I went back to the doctor in 2 days and she suggested Flucanazole oral tabled (150 mg 1 dose) that give relief for a day or so but then again the following week my thrush came back.

cyclogest - help! (Used rectally but had to poop within 25-30 mins)
I’ve used a cyclogest
pessary
this morning but within 30 mins had a bad tummy so had to go to the loo. Is this long enough for it to have absorbed? (There seemed to be a lot in the toilet) or is it safe to use another one just as a one off?

Cyclogest and Lubion
I am out Saturday and just wondering if it is feasible to take these meds when out and about, particularly the cyclogest
pessary
as I remember from last time (with a different
pessary
) I had to lie down to use it. Cyclogest pessaries seem smaller, is that just like inserting a tampon?

Cannot make up my mind...should I have POP surgery...or not?
Did anyone have their prolapse get worse just using a
pessary
and not getting surgery? What's your opinion on sex even though you have a prolapse? Did anyone have a minor rectal prolapse get worse using just a
pessary
? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Rectocele anyone?
I was wondering what measures others have taken ... an operation or
pessary
and were you happy with the results. I'm using estriol cream for vaginal health, but I started forgetting to use it and then ran out so wasn't getting the most out of it.

reoccurring thrush on dienogest
I’ve taken fluconazole twice now and tried the
pessary
but it keeps coming back. I just wondered if anyone else has linked this to dienogest and if there is any cure/solution/lifestyle change.

Missed Lubion injection
It was late so I took a
pessary
instead as wasn’t sure what else to do. This morning I got a BFP! However, I was keen to get hold of the syringes and needles I need for my Lubion injection.

9dp5dt faint positives on cheapy supermarket tests, tiny bit of blood and AWFUL cramp
My OTD isn't until Friday, but when I was inserting a
pessary
this morning (sorry for TMI) I noticed there was a tiny bit of blood. I've had horrible cramp since about 6dpt and my period was due yesterday. I'd convinced myself I was out. So I went to Co-Op and bought some of their tests.
