Pessary

I've been inserting cyclogest pessary twice a day. Up until yesterday I was able to get most of my finger to position the pessary. But since yesterday evening I've only managed half a finger before reaching soft tissue. Feel like it might be my cervix.

I have had a ring pessary for anterior prolapse for 5 years. My GP replaces it 6 monthly but recently I’ve become more anxious about it falling out. I’ve been advised not to replace it myself but GP appointments aren’t always easy to get and I don’t like leaving it out for days.

I would be interested to hear about anyone's experience with a Donut Pessary.

She mentioned pessary ring but from what I've read, there are negatives! I play /played quite competitive badminton and sailed a dinghy most weeks, neither of which I have done since and miss very much. Wondered if anyone had advice or exp erience of pessary rings positively?

My dr tried 3 different sizes of ring pessary for anterior prolapse but they all sat too far down, there was too much pressure pushing them down.. But not out.She said might need a shelf one and referred to NHS hospital gynae pessary clinic. Wait time about 12 months!!!

I'll be assessed to see if my cervix needs opening, but will most likely need a pessary or rods. Does anybody have any stories to share please? E.g. of cervix being open/ closed at 37 weeks/ preference for rods/pessary/ experience of contractions/ how long the process took from beginning to end?

Does anyone else have problems with bleeding from the vagina when having bowel movements wearing a uterine pessary. Also do you feel wet all the time. Does anyone else take estrogen cream internationally twice a week. P

Does anyone else bleed with a vaginal ring pessary. Especially when having a bowel motion?

Once I had paid to have a pessary fitted, the situation calmed down a lot. However the symptoms of the PN have radically changed. I am not happy with the pessary , the cystocele is now grade 2 and i am seriously considering having corrective surgery.

Prior to that had tried ring/ doughnut pessary but was told as I had a short vaginal passage they kept coming out. Prolapse has now come down quite significantly following a cough (I think). Not quite protruding but nearly want to try a pessary again.

I have Utrogestan vaginal pessary, so I'll take my one first thing in the morning and then transfer at 11.30am. Or should I check with the clinic that I'm still supposed to take one? Having IVF makes you second guess and doubt everything!

Long story short ( it was a battle) got a 62 mil silicone vaginal pessary fitted last Friday- it fell out after 7hrs! HELP!!

I am needing ideas on use of probiotics please.I have not been able to get them he two probiotics my clinic recommended (muvagyn vaginal pessary and vitaflora wellgard probiotics) I got optibac intimate flora which am now taking in the morning.

The urogyn could not feel the rectocele on exam and therefore no surgery or pessary possible. I have been through pelvic PT twice, never able to resolve rectal and back pain. I am dependent on Trulance to induce a BM. TheTrulance did not work today. Has anyone else had similar situation?

I have recently been fitted with a Ring Pessary with support which is fine so far as it goes but would like some advice on Inflatoball from somebody that has experiance of them. Are they a worthwhile investment? are they worth the money? What is the Life of them?
