Pessary advice

Hi everyone, Just wanted some advice on taking cyclogest pessaries please. I am due to start them tomorrow and I have been told to take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. So that will be 4 cyclogest (1600mg) per day! For those of you who have taken this much - did you insert the 2 pessaries together

Pessary doughnut

Has anybody used an inflatable pessary doughnut? Reviews look good. Wondered how you deflate it to remove it!

Looking for some reassurance...

I've called the clinic and they've advised me on my pessary schedule for the rest of the day. But I am wondering whether anyone else has done something similar? Surely, it can't hurt too much? I'll now be taking another pessary at 5pm and my Lubion injection as usual at 10pm.

Help, can i šŸ’© 1 hour after using cyclogest rectally??

So i am on 1 lubion and 1 pessary a day. My clinic doesn't think its important to check progesterone levels. So frustrated about it. I use cyclogest rectally (pm) and recently, i need to go to the loo like an hour after (the longest i can hold it in, despite going to the loo before pessary).

Trouble with pessary

The pessary is helping with no. 2. I have a shortened vagina from all mesh complication surgeries. 22 in a 10 year period. I have pudendal and obturator neuralgia. Lots of scar tissue.

Progesterone pessary no lubion

Hi everyone, I'm just getting prepared for 3rd FET transfer on Tuesday. I'm on the progesterone pessaries only. My Day 3 progesterone levels came back at 38 (should be between 30 to 40). I've been told to continue pessaries and to take lubion if I want to. I was wondering if anyone else only used progesterone

6dp5dt and low cervix - does it matter?

Hi all, I’ve just been to insert my cyclogest (sorry for TMI) and could feel my cervix is very low, so low it was hard to keep pessary in. I got a BFP positive last year but don’t know what my cervix was up to as I used pessaries anally. I’m just wondering if this is a bad thing?

Vaginal thrush

I am unable to use a pessary. My doctor has suggested I use vaginal gel which I believe is HRT. This is a big decision and I am reluctant to take it as one side effect can be vulvodinia. Does anyone have any advice?

Stringy mucus & spotting at 6.5wk, any advise!?

I’m hoping it’s over drive of hormones, and the spotting since Tuesday is pessary irritation. I’m keeping a pad on to analyse. Thank you ā¤ļø Jasmin

Missed misscarriage

I had the pessary to aid in the miscarriage and was told to re test 3 weeks later. Well it’s 3 weeks on Monday but just tested tonight and the tests are still saying pregnant and positive. This is such a weird feeling at such a hard time. Had this happened to anyone?

Spotting in early pregnancy

I noticed it on my pessary applicator this morning. There was not a lot and it looked old and brown. I’m really upset as my first cycle (fresh transfer) started like this and failed - this was during the 2WW so I didn’t get as far as doing a test. Has anyone else had this and been ok?

Progesterone supplements prolong a loss?

My question is will the progesterone Pessary prolong a loss or mask it all together? I’ve contacted my clinic but no response as of yet and EPU have basically told me to ride it out as im too early at 4w3d. Im not fully bleeding but have got some brown spotting when wiping only.

Continuing on progesterone beyond 14 weeks pregnant

I have been told to stop prontogest which is the intramuscular injection and only carry on with one cyclogest pessary a day. I wanted to ask if anyone has continued on intramuscular progesterone throughout their pregnancy?

Advice please - Endo/Adenomyosis/Cyst

In terms of symptoms - Heavy periods (Change pad 3hrly when heaviest flow), bloating and an admission to A&E last month for excruciating pain around belly button, vommiting, sweating - not relieved by morphine or codine, diclofenac pessary helped in the end.

Bleeding - 9 days post Fresh Transfer

Today I forgot to take my pessary before work but took it at lunchtime, so around 15 hours after my dose last night. Around 3pm today I started spotting brown stringy patches which have now turned dark pink and more like period consistency. My tummy is also tender and sore.

Repeat anterior repair follow-up.

I have follow-up appointment in 4 months to decide what to do next - perhaps try pessary. I am not having any problems at the moment and am wearing underwear to support perineal area. I also have an appointment with gynaecology physiotherapist next week. I apologise for very long post,
