I have a bladder prolapse and have lived with it for a year. I wanted to try a ring pessary to see if they would work but sadly 2 now have failed and just fall out the next morning.
I do my kegal exercises every day , have lost 3 stone in weight and done everything I know to help but still can’t seem to get comfortable.
My question is have any of you ladies tried the cube pessaries that you can buy ? Or any other advice for me as it’s really getting me down. I have no urine incontinence but go for a wee several times a day .

hello - I suffered a bladder prolapse after giving birth and was recommended a cube pessary (the one with holes in), I can insert myself and it stays in. The best exercise I found for the prolapse are hypopressives - you need to find a physio who can teach them but then you can continue to do them by yourself at home. I hope you manage to find something that works for you!
The only thing is you should be measured for one otherwise it gets expensive buying ones that don’t fit! I first got a 37mm one but then got a 41mm one
It sounds like you need a much larger ring pessary. I lived with the size 2 pessary ring my Uro gyno doctor office fitted me with when initially diagnosed in 2020 and it seemed to sit way too low. Despite telling them the issues, they seemed more interested in scheduling a surgical repair which I am not willing to do yet. I sought out a new female uro gyno doctor a month ago and they immediately told me that size was way too small, said most normal size women need a size 4 or 5 ring pessary - they gave me a size 4 and couldn't be happier, no more slipping and I don't even notice it at all. Good luck to you, hope you find something better.
Thank you . My pessaries just fell out the next day . The last one she put in last week lasted less than 12 hours plus it really hurt when she put it in . Have a uti today so I may have been going down with that hence why it hurt !!!!
Am reluctant to try another one and think I will use one I can take in and out when I want to .
