Well I've done nearly six weeks no smoking and I still don't miss it. No side effects to speak of although the weight is piling on....lol. I have just over a month left on champix I'll start weaning off in the next two weeks. So, do I recommend champix? Most definitely. Absolutely brilliant

Great post Skyelady , congratulations on 6 weeks, apologies, your badge is now rectified from 1 week to 1 month, must not have saved for me when initially done it :O

I award the badges manually. Different milestone badges will be awarded as we progress. For example, 1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month, 50 Days, 3 Months, 6 Months, 100 Days, 9 Months and finally the biggie of 1 Year - The Penthouse! So, your next badge will be at 50 days as this works well for members here to keep motivated :)

Not sure how many weeks it is now , 9 I think but still going strong. Still don't miss it, but by golly, have I put on some weight. Not sure if it's the champix, anyone stopped it and lost weight?

3 months now Skyelady , hope you are continuing to do well? It is perfectly normal to put on some amount of weight when we stop, EVERYONE does as our metabolism slows down due to no longer getting nicotine and that everything tastes so good now that we have our taste and smell buds back. Don't worry about this, it can be addressed later on if needs be when stronger in your journey. With summer coming too, will be able to get out and about more and enjoy nature in its glory 8-)

Thankyou Roisin . I am still amazed at how easy I've found it. I've got one more tablet and I'm finished with them, can't believe it's been 3 months already
