4 mths or thereabouts without cigarettes and i'm dead chuffed .

I was helped by nicotine patches but now i've finished the course which means nicotine is no longer in my system.the Icky 3s were a problem especially the 3 month one where i just thought so what I've quit smoking so when do i get to feel fantastic?? maybe i do feel fantastic its just that I'veforgotten how rotten I felt when I smoked. yes thats it I've forgotten .My smoking led to a stroke 5 yrs ago and a heart attack in december 2015 folled by a triple heart bypass op. Smoking has nothing going for it .Its a very boring addiction an expensive one too both on the pocket and in the body. I went on a holiday to turkey with the money i saved aahhh it was divine. Something I would not have experienced as a smoker, I wouldn't have had the cash.

I was a 30 a day smoker of rollies and If i can quit , anyone can so please dont give up on giving up. now that I've shared this post I do feel pretty fantastic.

Well done mash59 !!! Four months is exactly the time my body started to thank me for kicking the habit as well. It's empowering to feel in charge of your own self. Glad you were able to get away and reap the rewards of having a few extra bucks in the wallet:)
