Sorry to read Iainm342 that things haven't improved for you since your last update....have you quit cold turkey or do you have an aide that you have reduced recently? If cold turkey and at your 6 month milestone next month, the cravings should be manageable to deal with by now and that normality should be well on its way but this can depend on what is going on in your life and is different for everyone.

My advice would be if you are feeling that your quit is in danger, go back to basics at the beginning of your quit, lots of water, avoid triggers and stay focused and determined, you can do this and get over this bump, I promise, things really will improve very soon. Stay close to us....

Hello. If you are at 100 days then the craving should have eased off considerably. Is it possible that this is just a trigger - that you have been doing something \in a situation where you previously smoked?

As you are just past the 3 month stage I did read that this time period can be tricky. 3 months indicates a changing of the seasons and we are in a time period where we previously smoked (as in gave up in summer but last time it was autumn you were smoking hence a trigger)?

Hey mushen - Iain will be 6 months quit next month so as we both have said the triggers should be way manageable by now.....but you could have a point with the seasons changing as it was tough for me at the start of the summer and over 6 months in March

Ah I see - you're right, it should be better by 6 months.

I read the thing about seasons on WhyQuit.com - could happen for some of us I suppose.

Hope you are well.

I'm grand, thanks, over my dose thank god! I think I had the worst cough I ever had - even when I smoked, seems to be going with this dose.

Hows things with you, settled down a bit? I have my first mid term break next week, will be nice to just recharge the batteries and meet up friends and that...

Good to hear you ate brtter.

Things are OK this end. We are on half term so am getting a few days break. Back to it tomorrow though. Feeling up and down, don't know why. Just have to wait for it to pass.

Been a bit up and down myself the last few weeks - little things getting me anxious, as you know, the seasonal mood of the dark evenings does bring it on for me, hopefully it will pass soon for both of us :)
