Day 5
Good morning!
Day 5 is great and even though it is really hard, Just hang in there. 1 hour at a time.
Have you watched any of the (short) videos on WhyQuit.com? If not, then do it! They cover everything for every day of the first two weeks of a quit including the part where you can think of nothing else. They really are worth a look.
You can do it. 😃

You can do this, have faith in yourself - keep as busy as you can, drink lots of water / fruit juices and get a bit of exercise daily.

Well done on day 5. 1st week is challenging but it does get easier. It is so worth it each day that goes by. I am suddenly at day 40 and sometimes wondering how I've managed it. Keep strong.
Thank you all for your prayers and support! I had a better day today and know that tomorrow will be even better because I have all of you supporting me! What a great forum this is! Thank you all again!
Morning giffy, as I suggested above, maybe have a read of the pinned posts (links below).
I was the same when I quit cold turkey over 12 months ago thinking I would feel great as soon as I put out my last cigarette but it takes time for our body and brain to re-wire after all the poison put into it from over 4,000 toxins chemicals from just one!
Knowledge is key so try and read up as much as you can even if it is just posts from members here. Stay close to us - there is always someone around
