From Behind The Scenes…….!

Popping onto the forum every once and again I am amazed to see so many new quitters joining and want to wish them a successful journey but still see the frightening few relapses….

It is with severe severity I want to recommend that when you stop smoking start reading and learn as much as you can about this horrid addiction we have brought into our life’s.

I have learned by replenishing with a natural supplement which boosts dopamine levels ended the cravings

Researchers said the following: “Put simply, nicotine damages dopamine production for smokers, so to supplement the production of dopamine is the ultimate way to help a smoker quit, and quit for good. Even though the smoking habit is also a behaviour addiction, the "feel good" drug aspect is stronger and is the driving force for smokers to return to the habit when something stressful comes along, unless they know how and how much to supplement.”

(Dopamine is our “Feel Good” chemical)

I stopped with the aid of Champix and followed the supplement route and never looked back and I am proud to say today is 16 months since I threw away a half smoked cigarette and never wanted to smoke again.

“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life – think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.” And it is true and it works !!!!!

Stay strong everyone and greetings from a very, very dry and warm Mozambique (We had our first 40ᵒ C day for this summer yesterday)

Great read Hercu. Did you use the natural supplements early into your quit?

I live in Scotland so 40c is completely unheard of. 10c today!

Car-d yes, I thought I am going to loose it all after about three weeks into my quit and then stared the supplementing and it was like night and day ...from there on I supplemented and is still on the one most important producer of dopamine...!!!

You will find the name on the internet under: Natural supplements when quit smoking.

Ouch....If it is 10 C my bananas will die and so will I and the 40 is only the beginning Nov- Feb 45 C is the norm.

Stay strong !!!

Good to hear from you Hercu! 16 months? it just seems like a couple of weeks ago since you reached the penthouse, time is just flying by this year.

I haven't tried the dopamine supplements but I have tried Serotonin (another happy chemical) supplements before and they did seem to make a difference.

Hope the weather is kind to you through the long hot summer. Greetings from a damp, tepid and grey North Eastern England!

Nozmo Thanks..Yes very busy with the new development up North and chasing water down here... Now pumping 1.2 Km from my original pump houses... Essential to supplement both actually and I did in the beginning but now continuing with the one precursor of Dopamine.. You would know the name.

Need some of those dampness down here Nozmo, today we have got a dry warm 35 km per hour wind, dusty and 38 Deg C but we believe in tomorrow ....!!
