Can anyone help me have started taking tabex today and feel a little sick and have a bad taste in my mouth, is this normal side affects ?? Dont want to stop taking them as i so want to quit the nasty fags for good and have tried a course of Champix before but couldnt cope with the adverse side affects

I personally gave up smoking in Jan 2012 and looking back I probably couldn't have achieved this without the chemical assistance of Champix. I've heard of tabex and have heard it is very similar.

Anyway in my experience giving up smoking depends on a two prong attack and it ain'nt easy. Here are my thoughts.

1.Joined a peer group rejoiced in meeting people who said "we want to give up" people that had been smoking for years on end and wanted to kiss goodbye to the cost, smell and general yuck aspect of smoking.

2.Smoking kills and destroys your vital organs- Heart, lungs and your sense of well-being. I want to have a fun life.

I have tried Champix before and found the side affects of them to bad to continue taking them that is why i am using tabex, feeling sick was only the first day i started taking them i have pretty much no side affects from the tabex apart from a funny taste which also was the same as champix and i suppose as they contain Cystine it is probably that. I have not had a fag for 2 days now and not finding to hard yet only time during the day i get bad is in the evening so i have a e ciggerette to have a couple of puffs on and i soon stop thinking about one, i think most of my smoking is down to habit rather than actually craving for one.
