Sore Throat *Whinge Warning*

Morning All

Can someone just run past me this sore throat business!!

Last 3-4 days I have had a really sore throat some 6 weeks into my quit.

I have read the various links to side effects but wanted to know if someone here experienced it at this stage. Really painful when swallowing and the sleepless nights have come back because I am waking up with this horrible throat.

Feeling very grumpy this morning due to lack of sleep and feeling like I have swallowed razor blades.

im 4 weeks into my quit and im the same last couple of days ive had a sore throat,, im not sure if im coming down with something but today i feel so rough.....

hope u get better soon if it doesnt go in the next couple of days i would check with your doctor at least see if they can give u something so u can get a good nights sleep x

It's more than likely a bug - I have had a nasty cold and been left with a cough and sore throat for the last fortnight.

Oh, and hot milk with honey is great for a sore throat

Sorry you don't feel on top of the world

Some of us do get a sore throat on quitting but there is a sore throat bug going around just now so that't probablt what this is

Sorry you guys have sore throats. Nog, its no good if you are grumpy, hurry up and be smiley again! I have no sore throat, though strangely on about week four I did get a monster cold. But, I do have a MASSIVE spot the size of a small child growing on my face. I may call it terry. I am also coughing gunk again. Feel perfectly tip top healthy though. (maybe terry is a product of my olympic easter egg munching actually)

Ahhhhhh now you have made me smile and I did let out a rather unladylike snort when readung about Terry!

Sore throat has eased through the day but now I have a little bit of ear ache!!!

Oh and did I mention I am on Day 3 of no inhalator which is probably not helping!

I did have a couple of planets on the chin aswell but theyve now disappeared into the ether, phew for that, so I do sympathise luvvies

I was building up me part! I have just vented a little with some trespassers on the school grounds which hasnt helped the sore throat but has made me a feel a bit better!!!

Hope your sore throat gets better soon Angel......we can whinge together and snort at "Terry"!

Honestly nog, that really is terrific. You are no longer associated with the drug. I remember really struggling when I came off the patches after 3 weeks. Sent me almost back to day 1 in my head, you sound really sorted. I am just sad it has been buried under a sore throat and spot thread! You should be shouting it from the tree tops!

Anyway well done on being nicotine free i was contemplating pulling off the patches but 3 days into school hols changed my mind kids u gotta love em but I couldnt eat a full one.
