I dont think conventional wisdom is the answer to my question.Every six weeks i get my sp catheter changed. When the doc changed it in the cystoscopy room, twice i had clear urine and no utis.
Anywhere else with that doc or nurse, i get utis and or muddy urine.
I say the air is filtered better in that room.
Whatever else could it be?
We always look after it at home the same way.
There is no other doc here who knows about sp caths.
I have now been put on preventative antibiotics before during and after the change.
Overuse of antibiotics is Not a good idea!
Any ideas
Any other forums i can ask this question on?
Thanks everyone
