Kidney disease

I just got my blood work back yesterday and I see that my creatinine level indicates that I have chronic kidney disease stage three. I had a UTI several weeks back and now I have to pee all the time. I did a little research and I realize that prednisone can be the cause of kidney disease.

Finally an answer-Mucin 1 ADTKD

If you are like me, I highly suggest you check out autosomal dominant tubulo-interstitial kidney disease- ADTKD. There are two major variants: MUCIN 1 and UMOD(May include a history of gout).

Hereditary kidney disease

Hi everyone, if you have kidney disease and you don’t have a cause for it but you have a parent with it and possibly other family members, you may look up a disease called MUC1. After decades of searching my family found the answer as to what was causing our unknown disease.

Concerns about kidney disease

I recently had my yearly physical .... I am 66 year old female.....with a additional microalbumine test I requested due to flank pain. All my tests came back fairly normal. Creatinine .7, BUN 17, GFR 90. My regular urine test was negative for everything ....But the micro albumin test revealed some

Advanced PCa & Kidney Disease

They are concerned that there may be sign of kidney disease. It seems like it's relatively common in PCa warriors, so I'm presuming people have experience. I just checked on the kidney disease symptoms and I seem to have most of them.

Weightlifting with kidney disease

I had a conjoined kidney removed in 1981. Since then, I’ve had only one kidney. I like to life weights and want to lift heavier. The doctors I’ve been to say the best exercise for health is walking. I’ve been vigorously exercising for years. No protien in urine. I have Ckd by default as I only have
