Here are my symptoms. It is bothering me for 4 months. Frequent urination with less amount - around 100-200ml, but no urinating trough night. Also stream of urine is weaker. After ejaculation i notice lesser amount of semen. Also i feel mild pain/discomfort around testicles and in area behind testicles. It is not constant, sometimes im fine for two weeks, sometimes i feel it only for few hours of day/ and sometimes i feel it all day.
Test i had done: CT scan of kidneys and pelvic area, cystoscopy, ultrasound of testicles, prostate, kindney, belly, physical check of prostate - all these test showed nothing. urine test - hidden blood in urine. Really dont know what to do.
also month ago i have been diagnosed with ureaplasma, this was treated succesfully.

I' m just pointing it out in case someone with prostate symptoms in a non - UK setting has this test done, and thinks if its negative , that they don't need further assessment by a doctor for prostate symptoms , to exclude cancer.
I know, but some people scout these forums and don't actively participate in individual discussions . Just so they are aware to still get prostate symptoms investigated , even with a normal PSA.
Indeed-have heard that up to 10% of PC cases had normarmal PSA levels! I'm 55 and have exactly what you suffer from-2 "dr."'s even called me "obsesessively neurotic", that hematurea was normal (NOT!) even though I took samples of crystals in fresh urine, as well as BLOOD semen. My urine changes colour from straw yellow to dark tea overnight in bottle. Not exposed to light either. Tested neg for Porphyria,Going for CT of kidney and bladder on Tue........
Yes jan457. Except for persistant blood in semen(tested using Test-It urinalyis Test Strips-turns green IMMEDIATELY and then ex GP says nothing wrong-as well as urine goin from straw clour to red overnite. See pic taken just now
I am presuming you are not in the UK , as we do not screen or treat for ureaplasma here at present, as it is debated as to whether it is a pathogen or not. Having all those investigations is very reassuring, and I think any type of cancer, not just prostate , would have been detected. Are you seeing a urologist ? the urinary symptoms could simply be down to detrusor instability. There are meds to help. If the ejaculatory flow is also reduced, perhaps they need to look at possible wider causes. This requires specialist management with a urologist. If your main concern is cancer, this is highly unlikely given all the investigations you have had to date.
I think with the investigations you have listed, this is extremely unlikely. But the doctor who organised all these for you, didn't they reassure you about this ?
I'm no expert, but when Doc' explained to me he said, as the bladder shrinks the body expects liquid. So when non arrives it contracts more to empty as a reminder to 'top-up'.
Probably not the best explanation but basically drinking more water, not just hot drinks, juices etc, should reduce the desire to urinate.
