Worried about testicle issues.

I've been worried about my testicles for about two years now. It all started when I found a cyst on my left testicle which I had an ultra sound for. The guy told me it was just a harmless cyst and a lot of men have them, he just thinks the left side might be a little thicker. Ever since I've been worried that my testicles won't work properly and I won't be able to father children. The tail of my epididymus is a bit longer on the left side than the right, it hangs a bit lower, also the top of the epididymus on the left has a lump inside that is really painful if i keep moving it around. (the pain radiates to my groin) It never hurts in day to day life, only when i go digging my fingers in and trying to mess with it. When I feel the veins on the left side compared to the right they feel very similar, maybe a slightly bit thicker on the left. Also my balls sometimes feel very hot and it makes me worried that my testicles are getting too much blood and it will make my sperm dead. Would an ultrasound pick up on these kind of problems? Would they be able to notice if the testicles were getting too much blood or not enough blood? They never really gave me any information about my ultrasound the guy just said "cysts are fairly common, yours is normal" when I went it was for the check-up on that lump, but I just wonder if it would pick up on those other things like. "Oh there's something wrong with the veins or the epididymus." I don't want to go back to the doctor again and get my balls out it really makes me anxious as does this whole situation. Is it normal for your scrotum to look a little red also and maybe feel a bit warm?

edit- a bit random but sometimes when i work out by doing calf raises i get a sensation that my balls are hurting or a build up of pressure? but if I keep doing it they still look okay and feel okay if i hold them and maybe it's another pain and I think it's going to my testicles.

If you've had an ultrasound then cancer has been excluded and you have epididymal cysts which are very common.

All your other comments do not indicate anything worrying other than health anxiety.

Regarding fertility, you would not normally get a sperm count done unless you have been trying for a family for 2 years without success.

You can see a doctor again to confirm this if you want, but it sounds to me like you are overthinking.

Hi heffingnuf, cyst is not a severe problem since many guys have this issue. If it's not so big and causes no symptoms, you don't need to worry too much about it. Commonly, the temperature of scrotum is lower than any part of male body, if it's red and a bit warm, maybe there is wrong. Don't be afraid of going to see a doctor again. You need to find the cause of the discomfort and abnormity. The cyst can be caused by reproductive infections like orchitis and epididymitis. To ensure your safety and health, a diagnosis is needed. Clinically, the reproductive infections can be cured by natural remedy called diuretic and anti-inflammatory pill. Best wishes to you.

I'm sorry to comment further but I think you have a few factual errors in the latter part of your reply hary02.

Hi ,

I have the same kind of issue, had a fall about 6 months ago now.

Went a few time to A&E as was in a lot hell of lot Pain ,given a ultrasound an painkillers an told it would go in time (the pain )

Been the GP just been given painkillers an still awaiting a referral for a specialist.

Throughout my life of 55+ years I had similar issues and obtained the best advice from a urologist , however not all specialists are able to explain clearly. If you are not getting enough information please try another urologist. Pain, tingling, sensation triggered by straining should be investigated.
