Here is the situation PAIN in testes. LOW semen. Almost no feeling when ejaculating. This has been a progressive issue. I have seen a Gen doctor, and two urologists..they cant diagnose it. I have had two sonograms of kidneys, scrotom, a prostate sono, a full examination, blood work, (NO Prostate cancer signs), no swelling, no inflammation on CT, sonos or sight. MY prostate measures at about 34mm..MEDIUM size..I was told MEN can have ejaculations and feeling with a medicum size prostate--can I urinate--YES. I have spinal problems (MRI shows NO compession of the cord or on any area affecting urology< I have PRE- Diabetes---I am on ACTOS...but pre diabetes does NOT cause PAIN in testes. I have left Kidney stone of URIC ACID--they cant see it on KUB.so surgeon refused to TRY and get it..it gives me frequent UTis including E COLI in Urninary tract-that was a BITCH to clear up--5 anti biotics including vantin..Cipro. Keflex , Amoxycillin ...IT left. As to the pain in testes--surgeon said : ithink it is ORCHITIS--nothing worked-so on MY request he put me on CIFTRIOXONE by IV for a few days then by home injection-it worked for a few days-and the pain came back. he refuses to give me MORE CEFT as I was on it 12 days and then another 7 days--it worked-then STOPPED> ANYONE have any ideas? Again--SONO and Ultrasound of scrotom and bladder show NO infection or inflammation , NO torsion no hernia.. So--HOW do I treat long term Orchitis--and is a 34mm Prostate reason for surgery. (I am on PROSCAR that is the only one of the meds for prostate that I can take without major side effects)..In any case--the NUMBNESS in penis and LOSS of semen volume concerns me greatly--??? so i think there are TWO issues--- ORCHITIS vs EPIDYLIS (am I having SEX -NO its NOT an STD)..and a 34mm prostate--anyone have ideas I am In NYC.I find I cant get treatment properly...they give up on me-after a week on an anti boitic,

Hi kingstewie, as you have no inflamation and medium size prostate, your system should work.

Loss of sensitivity at penis could be a reason for less semen. And pain in testicles might be due to that less ejaculation. You are arousing but releasing small amount and that puts pressure on your prostate and testicles. Outcome is pain in your balls. I heard such loss of sensitivity cases due to diabetes and also because of age.

Hi..I am on ACTOS for "Pre-Diabetes" my blood sugar is around 104 slightly above normal..never in the 180;s or 200+ ever...Diabtes is rarely reversible )Control YES_reversible at over 55 very hard)--so is there anything I can do to increase semen -since you seem to think low volume of semen and Diabetes may be prevelant--suggestions (again- no infection--no stones in bladder--no inflammation) (no torsion either) Epidylis-sucks-basically--reduced feeling, moderate pain in teste-and bascailly useless sexually--any ideas to improve things? THANK YOU

Hi, 104 blood sugar is not high. Mine is around 106 and my GP does not consider it a level to take pills. Instead she tries to control it by changing my eating habits etc. But this depends on person and your case might be different. I made the correlation so: Diabetes -> loss of sensation at penis -> less pleasure during sex -> less semen volume -> more sperm left in testicle or along the ducts -> more pressure on the system due to non-ejaculated sperm -> testicle pain.

If I were you, and if I was sure that everything is OK with my testicles, prostate, etc., I would talk with my doc's again. Or visit another one.

I am a very low does of ACTOS--it keeps my blood sugar around 102...it has NO side effects and is cheap--I am OK taking it,.,, without it my glucose is too high--and I can have periphereal nerve damage (I had EMG--I DONT have periphereal NDamage but--was told if glucose keeps rising--I WILL)..Yeah--I am seeing yet a third doctor on OCT 3rd-maybe he has an idea... They have looked at both sonograms of sac and scrotom--it;s clean-no stones-no torsion--no inflammation...I think it;s a combo of less semen--a moderately enlarged prostate--and mild orchitis.. CEFTRIOZONE works-but my current GP wont give it to me--I am NOT ready to undergo any prostate surgery--I can urinate...that would be LAST resort and sono of prostate shows no tumotrs-n ostones--no bleeding. It;s pre-diabetes--less semen-poor diet and back nerve pain ( Ihave disc problems)..looking for natural supplentns to reduce prostate dize even 2 mm would HELP signifcant--its 34mm ad 31 mm I didint have this issue..could just be coincidence on prostate...get another opinion. SO much FUN...can;t DATE...lot of free time right now lol

I saw a urologist today he was 1000% over crowded--I asked for CIPROFLAXIN-he said I have to test your urine-he did--he said IM GIBVNG yo uCIPRO it has protein/strading cells red cells--you have a kidney stone--its stuck in there--prob cAUSING sediment to pee out--ttake the CIPRO 10 days--still have the problem-dcome back--I took TWO cipro---I gota BONER!!! I need 10,0000 CIPRO..he wont give me them..he cant take the Kidney stone out--its URIC ACID-he cant SEE it on KUB or X RAY or sonogram--he said-we are phising in there and may find nothing and it requires GENERAL Anethesai at lik a min of 5000.00 I ned CIPRO!!!! Im JONZIN FOR CIPRO.works for ME--the EQUIPME NT WORKS---its CLOGGED with JUNK comin off a tint 0.3mm stone ***(((
