Keflex

Hoping we stay the course and just recheck in 4-6 weeks as labs change at the drop of a hat and I had a UTI about a week ago that resolved after 3 days of Keflex. Thank ya’ll for all the good vibes!!! Will see oncologist on Thursday, but overall seems like a good report.

I would be interested to know of peoples experience with anti-reflux surgery, such as partial or full fundoplication, LINX or stretta. Was it worth it? What is life like after the surgery? Any disadvantages? With thanks for your replies.

I was taking 8mgs of pred .Now taking 6.5 tapering .05 mg down to 5mgs.For the past 3 nights I've been running a fever of 99 to 101 but it's been gone by morning.Had to take Keflex after some dental work a week ago but that's done. Does anyone have any advice?

I took a course of keflex and infection cleared or so I thought but it's back again a week later. I am abroad at present and have a supply of keflex so can take another course. Has anyone had similar problems. Currently on 3mg of pred started on 15mg 20 months ago. Thanks for reading.

No relief and they put me on Keflex. Bottom line, on September 14, in Indiana, I was diagnosed with a staph infection in my right knee (I have a metal rod in that leg) and finally the third antibiotic has proved to affect the staph.

Here's hoping the Keflex works as well as before on the nostril issues.

I went on Avanza (antidepressants) after starting Golimumab (biologic ) and prednisolone and everything was going pretty good until I had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic (Keflex) that caused temporary paralysis in my body.

The first time she immediately took Keflex and was ok the last time she took a specimen to the dr who has told her there is no infection and may be caused by the Xaralto. She is seeing a kidney specialist next week but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

They prescribed me 4 pills of flagyl given in the office at 7pm. 1 pill of Diflucan and 1 pill of keflex. 6/24- started taking keflex (cephalexen) 500 MG 4 times a day. Felt better at night. 6/26 - felt great in the morning - starting at 7pm back to burning in both the urethra and vagina.

So I phoned a nurse advice line and told them about my leg tingly numbness sensation because it’s freaking me out and they said u need to go to ER it could be something serious and I thought it was from my Keflex 2000mg I been taking and now I literally screamed and I’m panicking I’m going to die and

I've since returned to the doctors twice, had two gram negative tests for UTI but been prescribed a weeks worth of Keflex 'just in case'. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm also presenting with extreme fatigue, thirst, nausea, low mood and excessive sweating to the point where I am doing nothing but a foul smell from my armpits

I got a very uncomfortable staph infection and was put in Cephalexun (Keflex) 2 days ago. The first infection cleared up but last night two more appeared red, hot, itchy and crusty. Does this mean this may be the wrong antibiotic? Any one else experience this?

Also taking the low dose keflex for uti prevention. Sorry probably very boring question at this stage. Thanks.

any one else have a bad reaction to KEFLEX or Cephalexin.....I am struggling so badly right now....shaking and so tense....can't relax my body....

I’m on another round of 2000mg of Keflex now still have infection and my Docs are doing what they can. There’s no cure and theirs nothing we can do for you and I not give up! God bless you amen 🙏 please pray and stay as positive as you can and always help others.

She came to the conclusion that two of them, Cipro and Keflex, were responsible for my sudden and serious decline and told me to list both as allergies I began seeing her as my regular nephrologist. Each week my labs showed slight improvement: 18, 20, 24, 26...

Keflex , Amoxycillin ...IT left.

Two weeks later after many hours of sleepless nights coughing I rang my Gp for an appt. none available however over the phone he prescribed keflex, an antibiotic which is apparently ok to take with methotrexate, and 40 msg daily of prednisolone.

I finally went to Dr and she gave me Keflex and Nystatin to swish mouth with. Sorry about misspelled words. It's been about a week and the places in my mouth are getting better, it would hurt if I ate on that side. Has anyone ever had any of these things happen to you?
