What's the best painkillers?

That's a big question. I guess everyone is different so what works for me may not work for you. The important thing to do is take as prescribed either on the box or by your Doc.

I prefer Ibuprofen, and always buy the cheaper brands, can't find any difference between premium and cheap varieties. You do have to be careful to check what each brand contains. Some you can mix others you cannot.

Pharmacists are a great source of information, so if you unsure ask at your local chemist.
