Anyone experience lower back pain because of prolonged screen use?

Daily yoga. There’s an app called down dog on apple and other app stores. 15 minutes a day, free trial. Also try putting a rolled up towel behind your lower back, kind of emulates a lumbar support

I’ve done it all🤣had a herniated disc in my lumbar area last year. It’s a nightmare

Also if you can get up every hour and walk about for 10 minutes if you work from or whatver. Try and get out on your lunch and get some steps. Most lower back pain if it’s not from a slipped disc or a severe ailment it’s normally from sitting and bad posture. Tight hip flexors, hamstrings etc. hope this helped

This is a serious suggestion, but get your eyes tested, particularly if using a pc. I know this from experience my daughter had.

sorry to hear about your back. I had a herniated disc I found that a wooden kneeling ergonomic back chair helped, They are hard to get used to but are usually reasonably priced and do help. I found that they also encourage you to move more which helps. look at every aspect of what you do there will be other stuff which contribute to the pain.

I only stand to work now. I do Les Mills BodyJam or Sh'Bam, body combat, core, and body attack to stay strong. Pretty much completely gone now. PT did NOT help me but that could help. Other thing that helped was a good chiropractor. Cobra yoga pose helps to realign, yoga generally and/or Pilates

That’s it. The issue is normally sitting for Prelonged periods or inactivity and lack of mobility

Penn State University researchers found that lower back pain from sitting could be relieved simply by switching positions every 15 minutes. Stand up and stretch or head to the kitchen for a water or coffee refill. If you have trouble remembering, set an alarm on your phone every 15 to 30 minutes. may help relieve this type of low back pain. Setting up an ergonomic workstation –– with a supportive chair and adjustable desk –– can help you avoid straining your back.
