Pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction.

Hi guys hope this is the correct thread. I've been suffering with a number of issues these last few years and it's literally taken over my life. My symptoms are penis pain and tenderness especially when erect. perineum issues which includes tickling burning and shooting sensations and I've lost all the ability to feel pleasure during sex or masturbation. I can ejaculate but don't feel anything good at all. Shooting pains in backside aswell. I don't empty my bladder or bowels properly.

Also I have a weird issue that's hard to explain but my penis feels very rigid when soft.. it doesn't hang low like it used to.

I've been dealing with a urologist and I've had a prostate MRI which came back normal. Had a bladder and testicle ultrasound which was also fine.

My urologist is putting it down as CPPS. I'm currently on the waiting list for a Cystoscopy and I've requested an MRI of my penis.

Any advice would be appreciated. Any other scans or tests I should put forward to my urologist?

Have you ever raked any drugs to combat depression?

I'm on them now but I've had these problems before I was on anti depressants. I take 60mg of fluoxatine daily.

Like Norwich, Id also ask what drugs youve had, if any. I mean any prescription drugs.

Only fluoxatine but had these issues before then.

If you haven’t tried Myofascial Release you should look into it. It’s a very gentle stretching of the connective tissues in your body. My therapist stretches my psoas muscles/hip flexors to loosen my otherwise tight pelvic floor. Sex afterwords is amazing, I have had issues with pain and numbness and by loosening the pelvic floor it’s like going back in time when things worked the way they were supposed to—even better, I would say. There are probably exercises you can do on your own but I enjoy being worked on. Best wishes!

Thank you I'll look into that. I don't actually know if my pelvic is weak or tight. I have been doing squats and wide leg bridges along with reverse straight leg raises but I had to stop the leg raises as this exercise causes me to ejaculate which obviously isn't normal. I'll look into Myofascial Release and hopefully it can help me. I appreciate it mate thank you.

It's good that you're actively seeking medical help and undergoing tests to understand the root cause of your symptoms.

Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CPPS) can indeed present with a variety of symptoms, including those you've described. It's positive that your prostate MRI and other tests have come back normal so far. However, given the complexity of your symptoms, it might be beneficial to discuss with your urologist the possibility of further tests or evaluations.

In addition to the Cystoscopy and MRI of your penis, you could consider discussing:

Nerve studies: Nerve conduction studies or electromyography (EMG) to evaluate the function of nerves in the pelvic area.

Pelvic floor assessment: A physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor dysfunction might be able to assess and provide treatment options.

Psychological evaluation: Chronic pain can have significant psychological impacts, and addressing any underlying psychological factors might be beneficial.

Second opinion: If you feel that your current treatment plan isn't providing relief or if you have doubts, seeking a second opinion from another urologist or a specialist in pelvic pain might be helpful.

Remember to communicate openly with your healthcare provider about your concerns and questions. They can work with you to develop a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your needs. It is also important do not forget to use only trusted pharmacies, that's why I use topsup24.com a trusted pharmacy, here I am sure of the quality and authenticity of the products, try without doubt.

Take care, and I hope you find relief soon.
