Pain in testicle all day, laying down pain stops.

Hi, I wake up with no pain, but as soon as I get dressed by putting trousers or jeans on my right testicle starts to hurt.

But if I lay down the pain subsides, and when I go to bed at night the pain stops.

Any ideas?

Hi, Sorry I should have said, I have had this problem for 12 years now.

Hi, Its pretty much all the time, except when I'm laying down. Its either a dull heavy ache, or it can become very painful which is then felt down my right leg.

Hi, I saw the urologist back in April 2018, he told me to perform daily pelvic floor exercises, but I haven't seen any improvements except my left testicle started to ache, so I stopped the exercises (my left testicle never ached before, only my right one).

ok mate, I will try that. Thanks.

I had similar pains for a year or so after my vasectomy. I think it’s gravity and general movement that brought on the pain as like you, I was ok when I woke up on the morning. I got some relief from wearing tight supportive underwear with ‘ballroom’ which kept the nuts in place and supported and the penis upwards. It’s maybe worth investing in a couple of pair to see if that helps.

May be your renal chords are strained, unable to take the load of your balls

What the hell are ‘renal chords’ ??

Your scrotums are hanging from kidney through these chords

in reply to

I don’t know where you get your ‘information’ Diptasu? ‘Renal chords’ do not come up on any search I’ve done. If the scrotum is supported by anything it is more likely to be the vas deferens tubes - see link below.

Hello - I had the very same problem for many years and I learnt to alleviate it by wearing very tight underpants. Eventually my doctor decided that it was caused by an Inguinal Hernia which was confirmed by a surgeon. I actually had two hernias, one each side, and since the operations (six months apart) I have had no further problems. Of course this may not be your issue but it is worth mentioning. I can now wear loose boxers with no worry. (this may sound silly but I had to make sure that my testicles and penis were pulled up towards my navel, tight against my body, when pulling the tight pants on - not hanging down!)

You won’t get any link. Diptasu posts all sorts of spurious stuff and considers himself an expert. Sometimes it’s best to say nothing if you don’t know what you’re talking about?

Hi guys..couldn't resist clarifying my doubt here. This problem sounds a lot like mine. I have the right testicular discomfort on and off from the last one year or so. It starts and goes on its own. It's like a muscle pain or a nerve pull kind of a pain. Have been to a urologist who physically examined me and said it was nothing, just gave me a muscle relaxant. The discomfort went away and came back after a few months again. I'm working on a ship and so I'm in my boxers for months together. Should I stop wearing boxers? And what exercises would you advice for this condition?

Thanx in advance.

Hi Guys, I'm still waiting on my nerve block referral. Plus there is now talk about looking at a microscopic cord derervation procedure, has anyone here had that done?

I would try wearing tighter underwear as an easy try. I have pain and I try to stop the jingles from jangling too much. Btw, How does one use the TENS machine down here? Do many people use for this?

I may have to try one of these Tens Machines, I suppose cheap ones on ebay wont be any good?

41 male here. I have a similar condition that just started 5 days ago.

My right testicle just started aching out of nowhere and won't go away. Also seems to be fine upon first waking up, but as soon as I get up and shower, the pain slowly creeps back in.

There's no redness, swelling, or lumps/bumps. Doesn't hurt to urinate or ejaculate. No blood in urine. Just a constant, worrying dull ache. I'll be making a doc appointment soon.

I know this post is a few years old, but did you ever get relief and figure out what was causing it?

Not what you're looking for?
